is her music actually good?
>>61158583
3/4 of TBOWYB is excellent. Some of her stuff with Blue Sky Archives is also good.
someone please post more of her butt i beg you
>>61158606
is the new album that bad?
Anyone else think this is/will be garbage? Bowie's voice has no presence, it makes the orchestrations sound so awkward and out of place.

how the fuck is it b8 you child

Its fucking Bowie, just hearing his voice makes his music uniquely his. And he sounds fine, if anything he's working with the age of his voice to make something new. Im hype.
>it's only 4 years left until the 2020s start

Was Henry Rollins a dick in this video?

kinda. before he got inside he was noided ppl would bother him. Like he was begging them to start shit with him.
I like him for what he has accomplished, but he's still insecure
I think this is a perfect example of someone expecting something to happen and in effect making it happen. He interpreted what the girl said to fit his expectation then went off on a diatribe that he was expecting to give. It didn't matter what the girl said or what anyone else said, the same thing would have happened because his expectation manufactured it. He has been doing this his entire life, if you watch any of his interviews you see him doing the exact same thing over and over again.

This is the most accurate description of Henry Rollins that I've ever seen.

Saw this thread, went and listened to Fall to Pieces on YouTube. Good nostalgia trip. Thanks, OP.
What a load of shit, if the soloing on here was done with a guitar instead of a saxophone the album would be unanimously dismissed as pointless self-indulgent wank, but since it's jazz, the "superior" genre, people pretend to like it. Get fucked.
holy shit lol

So I just listened to this for the first time and I'm finally really fucking interested in Swans.
Tried a couple times to get into them but it never really worked out. Not that I didn't like it, but I never really cared too much to ever delve back into it. But ever since listening to this, it's all I can think about. Where do I go from here?

Sup OP, try 'Soundtracks for the Blind' because that's a similar era to this, if you like that try 'The Seer' and 'To be kind', if your looking for something more with the post punk sound try 'White light from the mouth of infinity' and if your enjoying the gritty no wave sound try 'Cop' or 'Filth' hope this helps
soundtracks for the blind
die tür ist zu EP
>>61156185
Body To Body, Job To Job isn't on this chart for some reason, but definitely check that out too. It's a rawer and grittier sounding version of Cop. Either way, have fun
If you need downloads for their weirder stuff, PM me on Soundcloud... I tried posting a link but I keep getting a message that says "our system thinks this is spam"

I'm 99% sure. long as he been touring not one "groupie" has come out and bragged about fucking him
also he acts like all my gay friends who get dumped. gay people are kinda ruthless in relationship, getting laid is the easy part
Who gives a fuck about surfin' Steve?

Post every record that you know that for you resembles TMR in some way
I would love it if they are more underground so that I have to actually have to check them out
For me that would be Uncle Meat - similar humor, similar spoken word passages, similar melodies (the blimp is recorded over a mother's track for example)
Enjoy the vibrantly red image
i'm i the only one?
Lots of polyrhythms
Try Royal Trux - Royal Trux (1988)
