Is Dick Dale the most underrated guitarist of all time? The stuff he did was phenomenal, and he literally invented that surf rock sound and was a precursor to heavy metal/thrash. Dick Dale plays left-handed without reversing his strings, which is ridiculous. My favorite song by him: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=xse34IZbCPk
>>61207949
Well, Dick Dale certainly isn't one of those instantly recognizable rock icons like Slash, Jimi Hendrix, or Kurt Cobain, but anybody who knows who Dick Dale is KNOWS who he is and he is pretty universally praised for his contributions to rock
I wouldn't say he's underrated, just not known well enough. He still sounds pretty great live, even if his health is starting to deteriorate

Dick Dale on /mu/? Fuck yes.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=-49f2qO2OPA
Also if you like him OP i would definitely check out The Shadows
>>61207949
>plays lefty w/out reversing strings
So he plays a right handed guitar flipped the wrong way? Or does he play a lefty and string it backwards?
Discuss about this asshole
>>61207797
looks like a serial killer.
HEY NOW
Brian Wilson fanboys may be my least favorite /mu/ cult besides Death Grips faggots.
ITT: decent Riffs / Basslines that aren't fucking circlejerked over like Sweet Child of Mine, Seven Nation Army, Hysteria, Kashmir etc
I'll start
Bassline: The Hand that feeds - NIN
Riff: Club Foot - Kasabian
>>61207746
>Riff: Club Foot - Kasabian
>not circle jerked over
are you a yank, mate?
>Bassline - The Cure - Fascination Street
>Riff - Wire - Three Girl Rhumba
>>61207818
Maybe in 2004, noone gives a fuck about it anymore, unlike the songs I included.
Anyway since you were too gay to put some riffs up I'll add
My Propeller - AM
Plastic Beach - Gorillaz (The song, most of that albums fucking gay)
Justify disliking this album.
This thread is terrible
>>61207458

I just wanted to say that I really pity you if any of these are on your top 10 list of best albums of the year for 2015. It saddens me that you're so lazy to explore the endless amount of albums released this year and instead settle for music that is backed by corporations and publications that don't have an iota of the artistry found in albums that get little to no coverage.
Please reconsider saying the phrase "I'm really into music" and instead say "I like being force-fed bottom-of-the-barrel drivel by publications that only care only about...

see you tomorrow
also isn't it a law or something that all of these bait charts must have TPAB on them
you might get in trouble for leaving it out

rolling
Give me a good reason why this album is anything less than a 7/10. I can tell why some people weren't blown away with it, but there's nothing blatantly terrible about it (or anything else in her discography)
Just because something isn't blatantly terrible doesn't mean it's good
Being boring is as much a sin as being bad
>>61206897
it's not boring though, if it was that would have been something blatantly terrible
>>61206918
I think a lot of us are agreeing that it was blatantly terrible though.
Hi /mu/. Bjork's best album is Biophilia. What is Bjork's best album?
>>61206817

Name an album from 2015 more forgettable than this.
Pro tip: you can't
Ahahahaha, pro-tip, amirite guise? xD
obviously you can't name the actual most forgettable album of 2015 because you can't remember what it was called
silly
Pomegranates
Which do you like better, meme baby album, or meme doge album?
>>61206545
To Be Kind is a lot better imo. The seer is tedious.
>>61206594
I thought i liked to be kind better, but i recently went back to the seer because it doesn't have as cringe lyrics as to be kind
>>61207955
i turned the one with the baby off when he started yelling im just a little boy
really cringy stuff
Does /mu/ like vaporwave?
