Black Quarterback is their most underrated song EVER. The first time I heard it I felt shivers going down my spine. That shit is amazing.
Pliss /mu/ make me a playlist of your favorite songs.

I need recommendations about african/cuban/south american influenced music. I like Ibeyi, Buena Vista Social Club, the Narcos opening theme.
BTW, and more important, how do i into Fela Kuti? And into african contemporary music in general?
STOP LISTENING TO NIGGER MUSIC XD KEK
HARDER POL SENPAI, HARDER
>>61226149
>how do i into Fela Kuti
I'm really not an expert when it comes to music, so please don't laugh about my advice if it sounds strange or crazy or dull: I think listening to a Fela Kuti album would do the trick

fuck man, these semen demons are 20 and make some incredible beautiful music

This is a modern masterpiece that will be studied by academia for decades to come...
Yet there are still people who hate this album, likely just to be contrarian ("anything popular can't be good!")
Is there another album that even comes close to how influential and landscape changing as this is?
I've never seen a convincing argument from all the haters that think this isn't one of the greatest albums of all time...
Discuss
I just honestly don't get it
The lyrics are shit and I can't get past that. I think some tracks are good but I have trouble really giving Kanye any credit for any of it when the lyrics are as bad as they are.
>inb4 lyrics don't matter
I'm not saying it isn't a good album, but I see no way it's a masterpiece
>>61225870
>the lyrics are bad
like what? and dont just cherry pick that one line everyone likes to cherry pick
mbdtf is a brilliant commentary on the post modern obsession with the celebrity ego, honestly could see this studied in universities
kanye is like the music equivalent of Proust...

like all of them
there is not one good line on that entire lp

Can anyone recommend me some music that employs noisey, chaotic and what I would assume is improvised saxophone like on this song by Old Time Relijun?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=36beRGUvsek
also wondering if there is any place online to find lyrics to all of Old Time Relijun's songs
google isn't helping at all
>>61226484
The lyrics are in the CD booklet. If you want to know anything particular I can type them out now.

Same here. A lot of shit I haven't listen to yet.
Why can't rappers rap about anything but being black, or "the black struggle"?
We get it, you're black.
DUDE
i agree
especially that dude eminem
wish he'd stop rapping about being black
>>61225583
Why can't indie rockers sing about anything but being white, or "tfw no gf"?
Look at this faggot with his meme hair and meme guitar. Does anybody else find it hilarious that he's still bitter about Nirvana getting so big while nobody ever gave a shit about his shitty meme band? Even Bleach is better than any Melvins album.
>>61225570
I don't really give a fuck about the Melvins or Nirvana but
>meme guitar
Fuck you EGC guitars are awesome and I'm super butthurt that they're not taking custom orders right now
>>61225570
Drink every time you read the word meme.
Buzz killed Kurt. Also shot taste OP, Ozma is better than any Nirvana album.

Assassins is one of Sondheim's less known shows but in my opinion one of his better works.
The show chronicals the different assassins and their attempts in US history starting with John Wilkes Booth and ending with Lee Harvey Oswalt.
