Honestly, I think they're pretty good with a hell of a guitarist. Do you agree or not? I'd love to hear /mu/'s opinion.
Bumping for thoughts.

Need similar albums to feel to, help pls
Moon Pix by Cat Power
Burn Your Fire for No Witness by Angel Olsen
Carrie and Lowell by Sufjan Stevens (I've listened to it a few times, and it's simple yet is interesting the whole way through)
I know I'm choosing mainly females, but I really like the similar feel I get from their lyrics and guitar playing.
The rest of Elliott Smith's discography. Pic related is my favorite album of his, and maybe all time.

So I just listened to this for the first time, holy shit what a great album. What the fuck happened in Currents? It's not even near as good
>>61234088
exactly
>>61234088
I loved Lonerism but honestly I just thought Currents was disapointing, not bad but disapointing.
>btw nice dubs
Lonerism is good, and so is Innerspeaker, but Currents is a masterpiece despite what /mu/ thinks.
>tfw the beatles are finally in spotify

I think it's ok but not as good as Melophobia. I like the production but I think it makes the performances feel a lot less energetic/wild. (At least for the songs that were supposed to be energetic.) For the most part, the lyrics are just serviceable. Outside of a few songs in the CTE discography Matt has never written anything that great so it's to be expected. The songs are decently catchy which is a plus I guess.
6/10

I actually did not like the production on this very much. I think it was a decent album but, with different production it would have been better. Also I think the percussion was to high in the mixing and the vocals too low.
5/10

>we want the black keys audience
10/10 job on making us miss the Perfect Confusion and CTE self-titled days even more.
This is genius honestly.
