aphex twin maybe?
John & Paul were the only ones who had any sort of impact on the world of music. The other two were entirely inconsequential. Do you agree?
No, Paul is a shirtless monkey and john is a raving madman. George and his trusty sidekick ringo kept the balance.
Ringo is the luckiest man in Music, and George deserved better
I don't care about that (we all know George Martin is the only Beatles that matters anyways), but I think that "What's New Mary Jane" is one of their best and most important songs they ever made.

It's hard to imagine anyone over 16 enjoying this album.
Thank you, Lemmy for proving how reddit-tier /mu/ actually is
No one gave a shit about Motorhead in this place until Lemmy died and now it's "OMG I LOVE MOTORHEAD AND IF YOU SAY OTHERWISE YOURE A HEARTLESS FUCK LOL DOWNVOTED!!!!!!".
Off yourselves. This place is literal garbage
so are you mad that a famous musician who died is now being talked about for making adequate and enjoyable music?

> this
Also I saw Motorhead live twice
I'm sure there will be a new hipster Motorhead bandwagon now, but if you're trying to separate yourself from them as a "true fan" then you're just as obnoxious
also, all the Motorhead fans hang out in /metal/
Motörhead never made anything musically interesting, and Lemmy spent most of his career singing the same note. But I guess he had """attitude""" so that makes up for it.
...The fact that you were going to comment about me being "edgy" shows how this band's fame is just a type of political correctness. Rock pretends to be contrarian, but it turned into its own mainstream with hard rock. With even businessmen and old white people finding it acceptable to listen to bands like these, there wasn't even shock value left.
But I'm glad we're all past rock now so we can look into these silly relics of their time more critically.
Every Motörhead album sounds the same. Good thing they all sound amazing. :)
>regurgitating horseshit from pitchfork.com
Listen to their debut album, Another Perfect Day, and 1916, then tell me they sound the same.
So all I got from this is
A) You're an edgy kid who needs his music to be contrarian
B) You're and edgy kid who needs his music to have shock value
and C) You can't tell notes apart if they're all sung in the same style.
Good to know what kind of people browse /mu/
How immature and musically retarded does one have to be to listen to music like Death Grips and Radiohead instead of real experimental music?

I will not fight you because you have said nothing wrong
>always had the funnest song on nearly every album
>wasn't afraid to be campy unlike johnny
>sang catchy child friendly songs that could be enjoyed by adults and kids alike
>voiced thomas the tank engine
>collaborated with so many pop icons both young and old that its hard to remember
Eh, I found his songs fairly boring.

Yeah, It's not too versatile, but I'd miss it if I didn't have it, just the bassiest pickup around. If I end up disliking it I could put a normal humbucker, the dimarzio model one in instead of a sidewinder. The normal ones have sideways coils. The dimarzio one is an objectively great pickup though, so it wouldn't be a tragedy to fall back to that. Plus it has a good acoustic sort of tone, which the bass is missing with these pickups. But I see myself owning a fretless...
