Was the Analord series the greatest thing to ever happen to electronic music?
no
>>61312949
nice /mu/ meme. The analord series is way better then anything oneohtrix point never has ever released. I bet you have never listen to any electronic music that wasn't on a /mu/ essentials chart.
>>61313388
says the guy who claims that richard d made the best electronic music lololol
>have uploaded over 50 transcodes as FLACs to what.cd

You've been reported to the cyber police

>people still fall for the FLAC meme
I know a lot of you like this album a lot. I also know a lot of you, like me, realize that for some inexplicable reason it sounds like fucking shit. The songs are great but the EQ and mixing are just bad. There's way too much treble and the "center channel" seems completely sucked out, leading to lifeless vocals and bass.
Did Jim do this on purpose? Eureka is such a fantastic sounding album. I can't understand this one.
Anyways, I fixed it. It sounds great now...
>>61312770
...step 1: set Adobe Audition's center channel extractor to these settings...
>>61312787
...center channel extractor settings continued. This will bump up (primarily) the vocals and bass in the mix to where they sound "normal" instead of buried in the mix...
i really don't know why the mixing is so fucking shit on this
where his headphones broken
is he just lazy
i do not understand
would this make a good plunderphonics album cover?
no
it could be part of the cover tho
>>61312785
Why not? I think it would work well on its own
no
using screenshots from tv shows just isn't done
Albums with god-tier names

This whole album is God Tier.
so last night i gained access to my girlfriend's house while her and her family are on vacation and I slept naked in her bed. then, i went to my actual house and slept all day with Hooverphonic's A New Stereophonic Sound Spectacular on loop. now im listening to Sonic Jesus' Niether Virtue Nor Anger. The second disk just started. maybe one of the most shoegaze couple days I've had in a while.
nice blogpost

Why is eastern Europe the best place for nugaze?
>PSUB
>Pia Fraus
>Dråpe
>Kairon IRSE
>Imandra Lake
.
true, rap could have been sample dense and politically charged but we have gangster rap to blame (and in some ways thank) for that.
>>61312329
It's the GOAT. Still, I'm glad people kept making hip hopafter that.
>>61312329
Really more of the logical climax than ending, but okay.

Guys, i got a girl to practice massaging with. What is the best music to put in the background?
I'm thinking about something like jamiroquai, but it might be too upbeat for the context.
I don't want like the noise of a river floating, because it will seem like kind of a creep moment.
What do i do?
try jose gonzalez
try vicente fernandez
grimes

How the hell do you audiophiles support your .flac addictions? I use exclusively .mp3 and I've been wanting to start using .flac for awhile now in order to really take advantage of digital music but I never do simply because of how much space the files take up. Already my music library is 73GB, with .flac it'd be something like six times that. Already that'd be way over the capacity for my portable music device (Sansa clip zip with 180GB) and my computer is limited in storage space too.
TL;DR .flac is big what do I do?
>>61311918
you can get two TB for like $50
>>61311941
where because i just looked for some and only 200-500 gb ones are ~50$
>>61311918
i was running out of storage for all my flac, so rented out a small warehouse on the edge of town and built a server farm there for all my music. do some website hosing on the side to cover the cost of the whole thing. up to 900TB currently.
