I was listening to an album when I realized something. While everyone listens to, pays for, and uses music. All this. Music isn't real. It doesn't exist. There isn't anything such as music. Sorry but it's true.

Hey /mu/. I'm trying to get into death metal (also just metal in general) but I'm not sure where to start. Can anyone recommend some good albums for someone just starting out?
In the meantime I'll post these Sesame Street memes

The Predatory Wasp of The Palisades
This has been one of my favorite songs of all times. It's beautiful and moves me emotionally.

After listening to it closely, I feel: (continued in first reply)

That it's about a gay experience. That lessens the song in my mind for some reason. I try not to consider myself a homophobe, but maybe I am? If the song is truely about a gay experience, I can't relate to it anymore, and it doesn't have as big as an impact on me. But I would never treat a gay person badly.
What am I thinking here? I am mixed up and I don't know what to do. I think this song is lesser because it's about something gay and I'm not. What?
I just don't like this song. Its kinda fucking annoying and repetitive and predicatble. When the polyrhythmic shit comes in near the end, I think "where was this was the rest of the song?"
The most interesting thing about it is the lyrical content, which could have resonated more in a much better dong.

Hi /mu/
I just got a violin and I'm pretty excited to learn how to play it, however I have no idea how atm. I'm kinda getting the hang of it on my own but I'm looking for one of those finger charts that you stick to the fingerboard, something I can print out and just tape on there with some masking tape since I'm literally so broke I cant afford to spend $5 right now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Oh, right, and it's a 4/4 size violin

>>61314176
anon you need perfect pitch to be able to play violin well.
If you can't hear that what you're playing is wrong, you need a teacher and 10 years practice. Those without perfect pitch (most of us) need a lot of help working out a bowed instrument. shit aint easy. Literally takes a lifetime to perfect.
Thoughts?
