Itt: Albums /mu/ hates but you love.

people just pretend to hate it.
This is the Anti-Normie Anon Legion General.
Post music that exists (incidentally or intentionally) to the chagrin of normies, music that is either too subdued and minimal or too chaotic and extreme.
For example, harsh noise and PE were made with the intention to offend normies. Lowercase and drone also offend normies, but only incidentally.
Both cases are welcome.
Normies are not.

Isn't that what most of /mu/ does though?
When did you stop reading Pitchfork?
>All of this Blackness is important. Important because sometimes white people need to take a metaphorical seat—to sit down, shut up, and listen to conversations in which they are a cultural object, not the center. This is not an easy task. White people have been way too comfortable for way too long in this country, in this world. Way too comfortable with the way they choose to see reality solely through their own gaze, way too comfortable with their sense of entitlement over the planet and its resources, way too comfortable with their appropriation of culture in ways large and small, way too comfortable with the stories they tell, the lies passed off as the history of mankind. Way too comfortable with the things they pick up, way too careless with the way they put them down.
I never read pitchfork
Never been to pitchfork, definitely enjoyed TPAB as an album though.

I honestly don't understand how its possible to be white and not cringe while listening to that album. The songs all sound similar but aren't all that bad, but the lyrics would make Martin Luther King roll over in his fucking grave.

I have a bunch of shit I want to record but hate my voice and my production skills suck
I was thinking about signing stuff instead. sort of like a white weeknd but with a much lower voice.

Did anyone else here buy the LSD and the Search for God tape that was released a couple months back? It sounds fine as far as cassettes go, but I feel like the quality doesn't really do anything good for the ep. I mean, it's unfitting for LSD's sound. They have this sort of sleek, glossy guitar tone that no other shoegaze band has, so it seriously stood out from all the other heavily distorted stuff for me. The cassette pressing making it fuzzy wasn't the best for the EP cause of this. Does anyone else have thoughts on it?

I can't get into blackgaze like this. I like black metal, but all this fantasy-sounding shit just isn't for me.

Can /mu/ recommend me a folk metal album as good as this?
I never heard that particular album but i will recommend you pic related which is genuinely an incredible folk metal album
>>61507573
I've already known it for a while and I like it. I have no idea how to keep up in today's modern folk metal scene, back in the day people used to discuss stuff all the time in Slsk chatrooms, now torrenting killed everything.

What's about this?
>"Jazz serves a cultural function in the music scene. It is a signifier for musical 'adulthood'. To embrace jazz is to don a kind of graduation cap, signifying a broadening of tastes outside 'mere' rock music. This ostentatious display of 'sophistication' is an insult, and I find the graduation cappers transparent and tedious. Certainly there must be interesting music one could call 'jazz'. There must be. I've never heard it, but I grant that it is out there somewhere. Jazz has a non-musical parallel: Christiania,...

KTT and reddit spillover
Savages is one of the most hilarious, cringe worthy bands ever propped up by the media. Remember, /mu/ used to be filled with stories of neckbeard fedoras at Savages concerts mouthing the words "DONT LET THEM FUCKERS GET YOU DOWN"
Female musicians cannot try to make aggressive music, because its by the very definition inauthentic. Females cannot be "tough" as any guy in the venue could beat the shit out of the entire female band.
Females should make music that appeals to their strengths: emotional control, deception, confusion, seduction. Vektroid...
