(former) /tv/ here,
I finally got my shit together /mu/
I'm looking into getting a decent pair of headphones for future sound mixing/editing.
I'm also looking into just an all-around decent headphone to relax and just listen to music.
My ideal price range is 80-170
The models i've been eyeing are the Seinheiser 598, Sony MDR7506, or the Audio-Technica ATH-M50X.
What one is the best to go with or are my choices shit, and if so, what would you recommend?
I would ask /tv/, but as I'm sure you guys know, they're...

AKG K240 and a bunch of peripherals on which someone else will school you.
best out of those is the 598. even so, the 558 has the exact same driver for less.
m50 is a meme, don't fall for it.
used to own the 7506, they're great.

i own these personally.
AKG 240'S.
Can anyone teach me piano? I want to learn this. :(

Learn the standard major and natural, harmonic, and melodic minor scales. Learn how to play arpeggios spanning multiple octaves. Start doing Hanon exercises. Understand music theory starting with basic harmony (triads and seventh chords in both root and 1st, and 2nd inversions) and rhythm by understanding not values. If you want to get into jazz start learning basic 2 5 1 sequences in different fingering positions. Learn standard progressions and understand roman numeral values for each chord in each key. start with...

This guy pretty much covered it.
>>61590104
Thank you, I'll try and make some progress. Are there any resources you know of for the scales?
>>61589722
No, it wasn't. People just don't understand when a black guy doesn't rap.
it had some good songs and is very original regardless of the 'simplicity' that critics bring up. some of the most critically acclaimed albums using basic song structures, simple melodies but are still able to convey emotion. this album is a gem in the formulaic hip hop culture. no other artist could pull this off
people didnt like it for 2 reasons:
>preconceived notions of cudi as an artist
>horrendous skits
>>61590170
did you fucking listen to this album
i know this has been posted a lot lately but here is the news is such a jam

Elo m8
twilight is a good song desu
I'm so happy people are starting to appreciate ELO, Jeff Lynne is a genius
One of the worst festival line ups I've ever seen hands down.
You're trying way too hard to look cool to a bunch of teenaged you're never going to meet.
>>61589457
i know so many people who would love that
ugh
>>61589503
This guy is going
Explain
>>61589398
You didn't get tired to talk about this super-meme album? At this point there's nothing to discuss about it. There are a lot of better and lesser known albums.
two headed boy p.2 is kinda euphoric
>>61589606
It's still a good album and being a "meme" is stupid and doesn't mean anything.
Wait so is this actually good or is that just a meme?
it's absolutely not at all good, mainly because the "rapper" has no vocal talent
>>61589200
Listening to small clips from certain songs, it sounds better than most rap
it's literally nothing some dude just kept posting it over and over again trying to trick people into listening to it

It's neither cunt
>>61589113
you forgot a choice idiot
On /mu/ it's definitely underrated. Their are so many teeny fag haters that don't take the context of the 90's into account.
What genre is the most critically acclaimed and why?
>>61588772
Thrash metal. Thoughts on Evanescence?
>>61588772

Why is dadrock so fucking bad? What was wrong with the world from the years 1965-1991 so that so much awful music was made and was popular?
>>61587592
>baiting this bad
People were more outgoing then and knew how to have fun.
Thus, music was much more upbeat.
Sorry you can't understand it.
>>61587592
lol so much bait
Discuss album
I like I Can't Give Everything Away the most.
Fuck off, cuntface. There's already at least one Blackstar discussion in the catalog right now.
>>61586991
same. Also really liked Lazarus.
Album was a 7/10 impressive for a 70 year old
Would music be the same if they never had existed?
I don't think the LP format would be as important as it was (It isn't really, anymore), and, uh...
ho-ly FUCK ringo's nose is so unfortunately huge
No, I don't think it would.
