'The Shape of Jazz to come' is one of my most enjoyed recordings, but did Ornette live up to the album's title?
Working through this collection his delivery gets very similar. The patterns of notes becomes repetitive.
He'll usually introduce a run with two short notes bap - bap - go on a meander, ba ba ba baa bap baa
maybe end with an inquisitive tone. baaaaAAAAaa
I don't mean to be down on him for his style, but it is definitely there.

Friendly reminder that if you haven't heard this record you don't know shit about Nirvana
Meh, that's a pretty obscure release. No one could be blamed for listening to their three studio albums, their big compilation and their famous live and think they get it.
gimme the download pls

LUUUUUCIIIIIFFFFFEEEEEERRRRR
>it's an everyone pretends that the opus eponymous is the best Ghost album because the laws of /mu/ explicitly forbid liking a popular album thread
The litanies of the album constitute not much of an improvement over Aphrodite's Child's 40-years old 666 or Blue Oyster Cult.
This music wouldn't scare a two-year-old child. The best moment comes perhaps with the Yes-style instrumental closer Genesis.

I hate it too
Ey
I need someone with better taste then me to help me find music to impress a girl
It has to be a male vocal singer. And in the style of normal rock or alternative rock like Suede
Does /mu/ have the taste?
Blur
Pulp
Oasis
dude go with either Silentó or Albert Ayler

You're pathetic, anon.
Post youtube links to the songs you listen to when you've had about 15 drinks in 2 hours.

In my lonely inebriation I listen to dumb electropop/EDM and other stuff that reminds me of the fun I wish I was having. Luckily I don't get drunk alone very often, maybe once every 3 months
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=80SKuF9wX2M
Also, 15 drinks in two hours? Unless you're tall and bulky that's a damn Russian stomach you've got there. I've determined that my personal limit before vomiting is inevitable is:
7 drinks in one hour
8 drinks in 2 hours
9 drinks in 3 hours
10 drinks in 4 hours
etc
>>61592086
there's a style of drinking where you usually vomit eventually. It's about getting so drunk you can't barely move and don't feel anything, that's why the number of drinks is so high
>>61592264
>style of drinking
As in...getting unreasonably smashed? Drinking to the point of losing walking abilities is only fun for the first 30 minutes, and then you just feel so flushed and heavy and gross
Also, I listen to DJ Screw when drinking, even though his music is possibly better suited to another psychoactive substance
So I covered FloriDada. How did I do?
https://youtu.be/KXSZXCNldHE
Another anon suggested I make a FloriDada cover and put it on Youtube since they're aren't any covers up hardly at all yet for some reason (so now i can rake in dem views).
For real though, this isn't too cringey right? I tried to stop making weird faces, but I couldn't help it.
Cute
Its a bretty fun cover senpai but your vocal range is kinda bad and is it just me or those chords sometimes don't fit?
>>61591913
The chords are super simplified yeah. My vocal range is what it is, there's only so much you can do as a baritone
What's that one Stereolab album that you actually like?
god emperor ketchop
lol nobody cares about Stereolab thread
>>61591667
There are about 7 Stereolab albums that fill the space between good and outstanding.
For what niche was this masterpiece written?
>>61591314
Angsty good guys who wear trench coats and trilby's
>>61591346
I thought that but all who I asked seemed to hate it.
>guy makes a positive shout for album
>You both listen to Blind Guardian, Dimmu Borgir and Britney Spears.
What does /mu/ think of this LP? I think it's one of the best emo albums of the 2000s.
>>61590517
The first song is the only good song... Ive tried this whole thing twice and the end is awful.
Now Devil and God...
not emo
bad
>>61590517
first few songs are good, maybe like 1-6
everything else cringecore
>walking around a record shop
>hear the loudest fart ever
>turn around
>see this guy staring at you
What do?
It is a well known fact corpses fart, writhe and overall make weird emissions of remaining gas after death. I'd call 911 and report a stolen corpse.

What are /mu/sic festivals like guys? I was too poor to go to one in my teens and early 20s, and now that I've made it I feel as if I'm too old to really fit in there so it'd be cool if I could experience it through your stories.
>too old
oh stop making excuses and just go to one. I bet you aren't even in your 30s you big baby.
>>61590006
Alcohol, everywhere. Piss and mud. Bad food. But overall great vibes and happy people.
