Artist you were surprised you liked.
My friends and I are starting a dolphin related rap group and I need a dolphin/undersea relates rapper name.
Can you guys help me out with something cool?
So what is good about this album? All I hear about it is how "experimental" it is which only really applies to Tomorrow Never Knows and maybe Eleanor Rigby.
Also it haves some of their worst songs:
>She Said She Said
>Good Day Sunshine
>And Your Bird Can Sing
>Got To Get You in my Life
did i get memed? This album is just like any other bro country album isn't it?
is this a good place to start with XTC?
Yes it is. I'd also recommend English Settlement. It's a good middle ground between their pop side and the more pastoral material that defined their mid-period stuff.
Who would win in this fight?
what are your favourite albums that were already released this year?
I set myself a goal to listen as many releases in 2016 as I can. yeah, it's pretty autistic but I have always wanted to do this.
also some of these are just EPs.
good choice on Blackstar, it's certainly an outstanding work for a musician with such a big discog.
What do you guys think of Hinds?
Why did this album get forgotten? It actually holds up against the rest of Massive Attack's releases
Yes, it does. At the same time, however, it's very different from all that went before it. I can only listen to it start-to-finish. If I just listen to songs from it, less than half the album gets played.
This is without a doubt their best release I loeve Mezzanine and 100th Window too but they don't even come close to the raw emotional power of Heligoland. Also the order of the songs is just perfect... for example the way that Psyche feels like you are hanging on the edge of sanity, and Flat of the Blade is like falling right off the edge.
What kind of music would a vampire listen to?
What did he mean by this?
Music is in a post-Christmas doldrums. New Kanye was the high point lately. I'm no looking forward to Radiohead's album purely because of all the posting here to expect. I am glad for Lady Gaga's return. Mostly listening to classic albums. Will there be any surprises?
I have a theory that because we can't pronounce our decade very well, the noughties, the tens, there isn't a definition between times. Maybe this will change for the 20's and 30's?
I'm feeling a leak tonight
