Just finished pic related, holy shit that closer.
What's your favorite ween album, /mu/?
This is my most normal opinion regarding someone's best album.
>>61722581
This was the first album I picked up by then and it didn't really do much for me.
Ocean Man and the title track are great, I also liked Mutilated Lips but besides that I felt like there was a lot of filler.
Blarney Stone is pretty great. I'll have to revisit it sometime.
I like their early punk influenced stuff on godweensatan, but the Mollusk and Quebec are great as well.
C&C is nice but has a horrendous cover

Honest thoughts on Blackstar?
I personally didn't enjoy it much. Blackstar and Lazarus are good, but other than those we just have mostly boring rock, with some jazz that doesn't work thrown in.
5/10.
>>61718382
this 100%
you nailed it
>mostly boring rock, with some jazz that doesn't work thrown in.
But...this is true for almost all of Bowie's albums.
You know that if he didn't die the reviews would be pretty average. Fantano would have gave it a 6, p4k maybe a 7.
And /mu/ would literally forget this album and claim his career has died.
Because he's dead this album is now 100% crtically acclaimed and people have become blindsighted by the fact he died after making it.
It's basically music fans with the emotional depth of a peanut being all edgy that "Woah bro he like died after making thid album, ever think about that bro?"

Why is this album so overrated?
Because people like it.
Stupid dumb people, always ruining everything.
would you rather be under paid or over rated?
>>61716326
The latter honestly.
