Listen to "to be kind" by Swans, I guess.

wasn't a fan of that one. I'd prefer something like this, with like, freak folk influence

Young Team - Mogwai is a good post-rock album with some post-hardcore influences

Stay mad at my movie ratings and curve
I'm in the market for another guitar pedal. Usually I've done a bunch of research to find a classic pedal before I made the purchase, but when it comes to delay I don't know where to start and it seems really complex/varied.
I'm looking to spend $150 or less. Are there any important/classic pedals that I should take note of?
There are tons of delay pedals that mostly do the same thing. I guess the only important distinction is between normal delay (delays the exact same sound) and analog delay (gives the delay a softer "tape" sound)
Most pedals are relatively simple, tho you could also spring for a complex delay like the one in your pic if you want to for some reason?
>>61776557
I'm really just looking for a shoegazy sound but I don't know where to start.
I haven't used pedals much in the past (I felt opposed to them cause i'm anal about being a tone purist) but I've wanting to explore lately.
>>61776633
I know some shoegaze people use reverse reverb
Just read up on delay pedals and decide what you want. Like I said, the biggest distinction is between normal delay and analog delay. Analog might be better for shoegaze, though I don't know. But as far as pedals go, delay is definitely one of the most versatile and useful

Most likely one of many budget guitars of the 60's and 70's manufactured in Japan. I had a Gibson 335 clone Univox myself. They're neat and I actually really like them, but they're worth almost nothing. Get cash on top of it if you really want it.

No serial number, etc.?
What are some good albums/bands similar to the The Avalanches?
Monster Rally, DJ Shadow
