might want to keep the actual discussion on in the other thread until it dies
why is this album such a guilty pleasure for me /mu/
i know it's pleb trash but mr brightside and jenny was a friend of mine give me major feels
also general feels thread/guilty pleasure thread
>tfw qt best friend/occasional hookup is texting her abusive (physically) ex but insists she's "just being nice and nothing with happen"
>tfw fuck
Jenny wasn't friend of mine is not a bad tune. Sure, Killers are guilty of many horrific sound conglomerates, but about half a dozen or so are pretty okay.
I'm pretty sure you have worse guilty pleasures.
>>61785636
Arctic Monkeys maybe?
>>61785575
I like The Killers too OP
Hot Fuss and Sam's Town are solid 8/10s for me
To the point where they obviously very influenced by each other or even ripped off
I just heard this one listening to YouTube, am I going crazy or did Billy Talent nick this song from Stratovarius?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tn58-Nl9NYw
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Irnzddwty-E
So basically you're saying that you're listening to Billy Talent and Coldplay?
Another one

What does /mu/ think of Alice Cooper?
I was really into him in high school during my New York Dolls/Late 70's Punk stage.
Killer is GOAT
i got my dad a beat up copy of Schools Out from a record shop for christmas and he liked it
Does /mu/ like Eurobeat?
I played a show a few weeks ago and some guy said it sounded like "Distorted GayBeat."
I was also twerking during my set, so I don't blame him.

I'm a girl. If you saw me in real life you'd probably fucking stutter and look down as if you weren't staring at me the whole time out of the corner of your eye, mouthbreather.
Just wanted to pop in to remind you guys that rock hasn't progressed since the 70s. Everything after is just the same ideas with a new coat of paint.

I haven't been here in a few years, but is /mu/ over that fucking retarded phase it had in 2012-14?
>Hates "dadrock" because it's popular, can't see why millions people would like fun and catchy rock music

/mu/ likes 'dadrock' now.
its shit just leave before you get attached for any reason
How long until kids are making sampled songs of 2000's aesthetics? What will it sound like?
That's been going on for years. I see people do it like every fucking weekend.

Fuck off, that's 2010s.
Personally, I think 2000-2005/6ish carried on a lot of the charm and fun of the late 90s, but anything after that was Bieber iPhone social media shit that feels too "new".

WHAT
Do any of you go to concerts alone?
Is it still fun without going with other people?
The first concert I went to was by myself. I had a blast. In fact, I find it better to go by myself cuz then I don't have to worry about whether or not the attendees like the show and feel obligated to leave early if they absolutely hate it.
i've been to dozens of concerts and i've never been to any in company
i really can't see how it would be superior or even worthwhile in any way
like i have to worry about other people and how they feel about the venue and the music and whatnot and i have to worry about what they think of me so i can't let go of myself and feel the music and the problems just go on and on
i don't think i'd ever go to a concert in company
people on here and friends i have irl talk about "i want to go and see such and such band but i have nobody to...

I hung out with the dipshits from my high school for years and years, but realized the only thing we had in common was drugs. One friend from that group I've always been on the same level with. Liked the same music, movies, etc. We started a band right out of high school.
After playing in that band for a little while, I met hundreds and hundreds of people, all because of music. Through music and meeting these people some kids from bumfuck Tennessee were able to play in Montreal and Mexico City. Some of our best friends are there now.
I guess what I'm...

There's plenty of good /mu/core albums, and the people that hate /mu/core typically only hate it because of it's association with the rest of the board. AKA they want to be special snowflakes.
