What's the consensus on this record? Picked it up at a used record store yesterday. Never listened to King Crimson before, but thought I'd try it. Played it last night and I really liked some parts of it.
It's considered one of their best if not the best

This and Red are GOAT albums. The Talking Drum+Larks' Tongues In Aspic Pt.2 is my favorite part of any album, ever.
GOAT album anon.

people of /mu/ who listened to tool in their early teens. do you still listen to them this day?
none of the songs are too cringeworthy
>>61805390
before the thread get's inundated with copypasta's
yea, on occasion.
one of the few alternative metal bands that I can still bear to listen to without cringing.
possibly because they didn't take themselves seriously while still being good at the music that they made.

I still listen to them from time to time, but now I really only like Opiate, Undertow, and some songs off of Aenima. Their pretentious math metal bullshit and 2deep4u lyrics just don't do it for me anymore.
i like them just as much as i did in high school, which amounts to me throwing on an album of theirs once every few months.
Tell me your sins, /mu/
i like dream theater

Just answer my question

>tellmahoney
>he listens to remastered recordings
Sometimes they're good and sometimes they're not. I always spend like half an hour trying to look up people comparing them if I get a torrent that has both.
>>61805334
ill fuck you in the ass tonight bitch
I can only think of Mogwai Young Team remastered edition as an example of good remasters.
Say something nice about Alice Glass
she looks like she gives good head
>>61805267
she is not sky ferreira
something nice about Alice Glass.
Okay /mu/, everyone on this board knows 'Loveless'. But I've never seen MLB's 3rd album being discussed here. Do you guys like it? Curious to know what you think.
>>61805252
its better than loveless
It's the worst of the 3. Has some really good tracks but some of it is tedious to get through.
>>61805252
I really like it, "Nothing Is" is pointless though.
Explain to me why the Pixies aren't your favorite band. I'm not judging you. I'm sure you're a decent enough human bean. Just tell me who your favorite band is and why it's not the Pixies
Surfer Rosa > Doolittle > Trompe > Bossanova
Swans cuz they released more good records and SFTB>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
because rock is garbage
Post prog with quality songwriting

Wedding Nails is literally the only good song on this album

First Utterance
>wtf there's no /prod/ thread
is there anything like pic related that I can use as a midi controller?
don't lie, you know you want to
what speakers should I buy for starting out?
also do I need to get a subwoofer?
>tfw you recognize the location in the captcha
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=szQFJ0oZ2yE
DDR pad seems like its just asking to made into a midi controller
piano key layout is the most wrong layout for a controller of this nature
Does live performance on a real life instrument count as music production? I've been told by people that it doesn't but I can't help but laugh in their faces. I myself improvise on piano and other instruments for hours every day but I always get boo'd out of these threads for reasons unknown to me
>>61856873
define "starting out"
get a powered loud speaker you can buy another and a sub later
