Nawh, but I am going to see LSD and the Search For God on the 10th in a 85 person venue, so pretty hyped about that.
I don't know how I should feel about this, but I have literally never heard of a single band here.

How often do you guys listen to a new album,
how do you get into an artist
how do you get into a genre
how many albums a day
how do you rate
Stuff like that. Pic unrelated.
I try to listen to at least one new album a day....
I'll listen to some singles and then start at the beginning of their discography
Genres are stupid
>How often do you guys listen to a new album
Maybe 3-5 albums a week. I know it's not much but hey, I have other things to do.
>how do you get into an artist
Someone recommends me one in a chart thread. Or a read about an artist I like on wikipedia and find out about another artist that was in a similar genre or scene, or was an influence. Or I just buy an album that has a cool cover.

>one new album a day
I've tried doing this. It gets pretty grating. I need to give myself a chance to enjoy albums I already like, if that makes sense. When I do find a new album I enjoy, I keep listening to it non stop.
IE Vince Staples "Summertime 06". One I got hooked on that it was on repeat every day for weeks.
woi good morning lads.

>psytrance, progressive trance
The beginning sample is kind of dull but the textures of this song are pretty great & it is composed pretty conservatively for progressive trance while not being too low energy or over the top and cheesy, the composition shifts in a pretty engaging way as well & pretty consistently

I just really like the composition of this song, it's composition is simple and conservatively dancible.
One of these threads. Didn't see one in the catalog.

You know hatsune miku is actually a star in Japan, right? She's a singer. I have 5 of her albums on CD.
What does /mu/ think of "Luminous" by the Horrors? I've been listening to it a fair bit lately, quite enjoyable even if Skying was a lot stronger.
Feel free to discuss The Horrors in general
/mu/ doesn't like any british rock band.
Anyway I listened to it when it came out and I remeber liking it, but now I don't remember almost anythinga about it.
Skying is probably their best.

I have noticed that

Worth re-listening I'd say, some of their best stuff is here even if it's a bit inconsistent. Skying is definitely there best though I agree.

At 1.25.50 in this video, David Bowie utters the words "meme school". This is in 2002. This may well be one of the most advanced human beings who has ever lived https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qnnY_Z9OtC0
david bowie dying was the worst thing to happen to his career
I thought you were just shitposting but he very clearly says meme school
