hi http://www.last.fm/user/DJGhostworld
Guys, I missed the first week of 2016 on /mu/, so can you tell me what were the best and/or the most underappreciated albums of 2015?
Everyone pretty much agrees that Jenny Death was the best thing to come from 2015. It's so good it's ignored as a double album and considered a stand alone piece of work, death grips best since exmilitary.

Okay, but let's talk top ten albums for example. I need more!

>8.0 no BNM
pan of the century
shit band t b h
>there are people on /mu/ right now who avoid music because of politics
Again with this shit. Avoiding is one thing, wanting to know if a band has a political agenda and is blatantly using their art to push said agenda is another.
no I avoid Death in June because they're the most bland neofolk out there, to the point that even its many copycats do their stuff better than they do.

fuck off idiot
Hey, /mu/, what's your favorite Matchbox Twenty song?
Mine is probably Mad Season.
Back2Good is a pretty closed 2nd though, I guess.
/mu/ this is a conversation that needs to happen. Don't just act like this thread doesn't exist. Don't pretend you don't feel compelled to sing along every time "Real World" comes on at the dentist's. Don't act like you're somehow above lip-synching to the chorus of "Push" in the car during your morning commute.
Let's be real here, familia.
Well?
Just ordered this LP, what albums should I listen to if I liked this one? I tried Conference of the Birds and Pilgrimage, and they were okay, but not really what I'm looking for - perhaps something more Psychedelic Rock/Post Rock.

Not really similar, but codeine's "white birch" is pretty chill.

What is "Jazz"?
Is it a specific sound? A defined set of instruments? A tempo?
Saxaphone

with backing piano and cymbals
A chorus and rotating rounds of improvisation.

sorry that I don't like music
>>61834995
>itaots, sufjan, ajj, giles corey, jordaan mason, the microphones, sun kil moon, damn thats a lot of folk
Have some folk recs to get "taste"
Daniel Johnston - Don't Be Scared
Jandek - Blue Corpse
Simon Finn - Pass the Distance
Sun City Girls
Pelt - Ayahuasca
What doew /mu/ think of this?
I've seen the documentary and thought Daniel was so interesting, but I can't get into his music. I can see the appeal, but it just hasn't clicked with me.
>>61834934
Daniel Johnston is great, he was my gateway drug to outsider music.
I think the guy's a genius.
>What have you seen?
>What do you want to see?
>Who do you want to see?
>What are you looking forward to?
>What are you hoping (dreaming) for?
New Korg Minilogue looks really good.
I'm always telling myself "just one more synth, and I'll have every sound I need," but I really do need a ballsy analog with an arp. Then I'll be done for real.
The delay sounds sweet too.
>What have you seen?
The Korg Minilogue
>What do you want to see?
The new DSI synth(s)
>Who do you want to see?
idc familia
>What are you looking forward to?
Something good from Roland hopefully
>What are you hoping (dreaming) for?
A nice analog poly (that doesn't sound bad)
>>61834929
>A nice analog poly (that doesn't sound bad)
You didn't like the new Prophet?
How many of you arrived to the point where you listened to so many records that you finished all the good ones and you start to enjoy every single record you listen to, even the most bland, with a shit eating grin on your stupid face?
Un abbraccio
Obviously not me
