inb4 but that's just mucore
>tfw born to be alone
What does /mu/ think of Monstercat Media? Shit or the shit?
If I wanna listen to Heavy shit like drum n bass or dub, I'll put on a playlist from em. If you're not into that, they're pretty much worthless.
That being said, I think they're a decent label, and I follow them on Soundcloud for background noise every now and then.

monstercat doesnt make drum and bass or dub
>>61878392
Mr Fijiwiji does some good shit.
I like Entropy
Let's talk about how this genius is indirectly responsible for every /mu/core album
>>61878338
is that john locke
Well, he couldn't possibly have caused ITCOTCK, since it came out before he had a career.
>>61878338
what is /mu/core these days?
anyway yeah he literally worked on Remain in Light
can you guys drop me some classy music? you know the kind rich old snobby white people would listen too? thanks in advance

Some H&M lounge jazz dreck.
did people hate on Bowie back in the 70s?
call him a fag, make fun of him, call his music shit and pop garbage, etc.
I was thinking about all the people who h8 on pop stars like Lady Gaga today, and make fun of the way she dresses. Bowie was similarly obscene, as well as having homosexual overtones back in his day.
if so, at what point did he become accepted as "classic rock" i.e. dadrock.
>side note, shout out to all the lower class American middle aged manly-men who make fun of youth for wearing skinny jeans and call...

Yes. Nobody had seen anything like Ziggy Stardust ever before. It evoked homosexuality but went beyond it and was alien tot he point that it was neither gay or straight. It was brand new and blew people's minds and made many people uncomfortable. My mom said she was afraid of him, thought of him as a kind of Marylin Manson of his day (she's a fan now.) I remember seeing in some documentary that some other band based their whole ad campaign around "Not just a pretty face" in reference to Bowie.
Well yeah people make fun of weirdos, but people also made fun of the beatles.
it was mostly the older generation
>>61878101
yeah
people tend to hate on and attack anyone representing nonstandard gender/sexuality shit
see /v/
Why haven't all the dadrockers gotten the memo that this is a good band yet? It's been fifty years and they still don't play them on classic rock radio
>>61878082
Please...If the Velvets become mainstream I seriously might kill myself
>>61878370
Look like you're killing yourself, anon.
Can you imagine hearing 'TOO BUSY SUCKING ON A DING DONG' on a classic rock radio station? It would be great. If anything though, they would just play stuff from s/t and Loaded.
Underwhelming comeback albums
>>61877919
Like 90% of them
>>61877959
This. A good artist never needs to come back.

My Father Will Guide Me Up A Rope to the Sky. Granted, they totally redeemed themselves with The Seer and To Be Kind.
So, /mu/. Explosions In The Sky is releasing a new album in March. Why haven't you pre-ordered your limited edition colored vinyl yet? Only 1000 to be made.
Because they are shite. Simple as that. Boring af.
