If you can't name at least 10 people in this picture, please leave /mu/ and never come back.
what does /mu/ thinks about this album?
Love it, one of my current favorite albums. Everything they've done except AM is pretty good, though Suck it and See is easily weaker than the other three before it but still good
anybody else here in love with LISA: the painful's soundtrack?
Is this accurate?
Can someone give me the rundown on what music has become normiecore now? Do actual 12 year olds listen to death grips? Is swans facebook-core? Do all the lamestreem meemers listen to macintosh plus?
Why should you care in the first place? Just listen to whatever you like.
When I listen to music I often find myself hit with feelings of resentment for the artist. Jealousy towards their success and high quality of life. David Bowie is the worst offender. I love the guy's music but it's so good that I get upset that I won't make anything on the same level. And on top of that he was extremely handsome and charismatic and basically waltzed his way through life fucking every attractive person he met. It's downright unfair.
Does anybody else have this issue?
Nah but I have resentment for Undertale cause I'm jealous of Toby
You'll get better soon anon
How does /mu/ feel about Taylor Swift?
I remember some interesting discussions when 1989 came out.
I love a lot of her songs, and she'smy celebrity crush, but I'm not a huge fan of 1989. lyrics are just as good as Red, but I hate that she sold out.
Ibeyi are hot, plus they're french-cuban

Is Bob Marley liked here?
was nu-metal really all that bad /mu/ ?
No but corporate cash-ins on widespread movements are really that bad. The 2nd and 3rd rate commercial shill bands ruined something that wasn't even really a "real genre", happens with everything. This stuff gets the most amount of flack but people give the most milquetoast 2000's "indie" a pass or even worse, P4K FotM artists, but it's not suprising considering the edginess of this shit.
/Nu-Metal/ has some great albums, and opened up avenues for other, more niche artists/genres...
