not sure why you didn't use the default format. either way, I need help.
I am a production noob, and I have only been doing production for a short while. I am in the proccess of mastering a track, and I would like some input on what to do as far as EQ and compression. At the moment, I don't have access to the actual project files, and I only have the exported master track .wav. So anything I do, will have to be to the entire song, and I can't individually edit instruments.
Any help is appreciated.
How do I into guitar noise like Jesus And Mary Chain in FL Studio?

like, the crunchy, lo-fi guitars and simplistic but melodically satisfying chord progressions of punk rock and the long, multi-part songs with frequent tempo changes and somewhat jazz-infused technical complexity of prog? it seems oxymoronic but something like it must exist.
the closest bands to this that I've been able to...

How is this album not considered more of a modern masterpiece? It takes the most off putting and outsider ideas of drug abuse, murder, attempted suicide, and schizophrenia and makes them catchy. It is kinda a feat when you talk about. Every song has a hook that you remember. Every song. The album just is kinda in a league of its own when put up to other Death Grips records.
The production is the best out of any of Death Grips album period. So /mu/ what is your classic?

Emo is still my favorite because I listen to music for emotional impact, but it feels like attrition the deeper I get into it.
