What YouTubers does /mu/ watch?
In a perfect world, the 1970's would have ended with Punk dying and Disco surviving.
Despite what mainstream society and pretentious punks have told you, search in your heart and you know it's true. Disco was too good to last.
tl;dr, Punk Rock sucks and Disco is highly underrated.
You know what to do. r8, talk shit, get hit, etc.

Post the tracks you're working on, discuss general music composition.
>/prod/ wiki - still looking for contributors (wink, wink, WINK)
There's a severe lack of DAW descriptions in the wiki. If you're good with your tool of choice, consider writing a paragraph about it.
Remember to use clyp.it to post your tracks/WIP : posting a clyp.it is just providing sound for a question, posting a soundcloud link is making self-advertisement and the thread doesn't need that.

Is there a /mu/ equivalent of /tv/'s so-called "essential boringcore"?
Is the failure to enjoy and legitimately appreciate pop music indicative of an objectively bad taste in music? I would say so, because modern pop is the result of musical evolution, all the best aspects of music refined and perfected, disregarding pop shows that you don't actually enjoy music but instead just soullessly listen to random sounds and notes as a form of intellectual narcissism. This is a pseudo enjoyment of music, where one enjoys imagined "muh technicality" over what music actually is, emotion and energy
>Bowie, trying to be cordial, motioned to Zappa and said, "Quite a guitar player you have here, Frank." And Zappa said, "Fuck you, Captain Tom." Bowie persisted, "Oh come on now Frank, surely we can be gentleman about this?," but was met once more with the same reply from Zappa: "Fuck you, Captain Tom". David said, "So, you really have nothing to say?" Zappa said, "Fuck you, Captain Tom." After that, Bowie, Belew and Bowie’s assistant simply got up and left.
What did he mean by this?
What else is essential /nevercomingoutcore/?
