saddening really.
Still waiting thugga
is he still relevant?
not really but I just listened to Father's Who's Gonna Get Fucked First album and thought it sounded a lot like a Tyler project
what he did in 2010 is influencing hip hop now but whatever he did last year is shit
>>63003603
Get the fuck outta here, Father is way different sounding from Tyler the faggot
>>63003421
He's super old now. Like almost thirty or something
i don't even like yung meme but i mean shit how do you miss the point of an album so badly?
If your albums is meant to be purposely bad just for laughs, it's still bad.
>>63002945
but shit bumps in the whip tbqhwy familia
It's junk
I'm a black man who grew up in a black American family and so my music knowledge is pretty limited to hip-hop, R&B, and pop. I'm very unfamiliar with "white people" music outside of pop, and could name very few songs by the most popular rock musicians who I only know by name. Of course I've heard plenty of it simply experiencing pop culture, but it's very passive. I know nothing.
I'd like to change that though. Where do I start? I like the sound of Rock, just never got into it.
>>63002647
You won't ever truly understand White music, just do yourself a favor and don't bother listening to it.
>>63002647
Start with jazz fusion.
Actually if you get into jazz fusion you will never need rock music again
>>63002647
You gotta browse /mu/ more.

Yes don't listen to power metal or slam
It can be anything, meme lyrics, serious lyrics, anything that isn't the LIGHT SKINNED FRIEND line (because that's everyone's favorite obv), whatever you like the most, post em here.
This is my personal favorite, it's probably the most beautiful thing he ever wrote.

What do you think about nudity/explicit content on album covers?
Should it be censored in record stores and online, or should it be exhibited without any form of censorship?
I'm very anti-censorship when it comes to art. Censoring album covers is like going to the Sistine Chapel and putting a black square over Michelangelo's "Creation of Adam" where Adam's penis is, simply because it's "inappropriate." In my opinion, nudity is a completely acceptable and powerful way of expressing yourself or others artistically.
>>63001901
Only censor them if they're ugly

You should look at the Lennon/Yoko Two Virgins album
Now that we unanimously agree that Coil and all other Industrial/Neofolk/Experimental Electronic bands are poseur garbage with no redeemable qualities, what are some good bands?
Pic not related.
Sigur Ros
A Silver Mt. Zion
Oasis
Deerhunter
The Beach Boys
Manic Street Preachers
Tim Hecker
Sufjan Stevens
Elliot Smith
>>63002182
This list is in exact order of descending artistic quality except id put oasis and beachboys at top, move tim hecker up and sufjan down
One clearly good band is the the fall
>>63002200
Have you seen any of their live footage? His stage banter would impress /int/.
How do I convince my parents to like Death Grips?
They listen to gay shit like Depeche Mode and Genesis and pet shop boys and I'm sick of hearing it over and over every day for years. I think they might like DG but I gotta find the right accessible songs. What do /mu/? What would you play?
>>63001304
listen to stuff other than DG
there are thousands, no, DOZENS of artist that could bridge the gap
Gay Emoji is probably their most accessible song
put speed in their coffee

ever notice how everyone's a huge expert on shoegaze? It's kind easy for a genre built on smearing everything in reverb and having no lyrics.
