Do indiefags realize there is more to a guitar than the first 3 frets?
Hi /mu/, Feedback here, one of the managers for /mu/'s team in the Four Chan Cup. Next month is the Summer Cup, marking the fifth anniversary of the tournament. As usual, /mu/ will be playing and looking to contend for another cup win.
That having been said, our roster could use some work. Some players may be a bit outdated and there's plenty of potential new additions I've been asked about. So as usual, we're looking to run a poll on what the board wants the roster to look like in the coming weeks. But before doing that, I'd like to hear from...

Here is our roster. The player names highlighted in Gold and Silver are our "medal" players, players with all 99s and all 88s in stats so they perform better. By comparison, all other players are all 77s in stats.
ITT: make an album cover symmetrical
I hope you guys celebrated babysoul day well
ITT: Worst Pitchfork ratings.
>Attracted to music by non-musical attributes (Lyricism, politics, image)
>Unable to intelligibly explain why they like or dislike a piece of music (''I like it because it's good'')
>Get mad or uncomfortable when you introduce them to different kinds of music
>Unable to accept change
>Decide their own values for what makes music great, disregarding any non-musical attributes
>Able to carefully critique a piece of music
>Open to experimentation and new forms of music
>Willingly accepts change
>Believes art is subjective
Music taste isn't what you listen to.
Music taste is how you listen.
Agree or disagree?
i've never fully understood the "lyrics mean nothing meme" I can see how they aren't inherently musical but what about harmonics or contrasting the instrumentation with how they are delivered?
Just a reminder, if you dont listen to Trap/Hip-Hop/Rap then you are not "hip"
If you still listen to rock/metal in 2016 you are a dinosaur
FACT: If you hate U2 but like R.E.M., Radiohead, Talking Heads, or Slowdive you are a hypocrite who has probably never even listened to U2 before and only hates then because they're cool to hate.
New FlyLo hype
>listened to music through cheap-ass earbuds my entire life
>never cared about bitrate since I can't hear any difference, kinda figured it's a meme
>recently invested in a pair of great headphones for the first time in my life
>my entire library of music suddenly sounds like shit
Is this how you become a pretentious audiophile?
I kinda regret it desu.
>Is this how you become a pretentious audiophile?
Is it really pretentious if it actually makes a big difference to your listening experience? If someone doesn't care about the quality of the audio files and headphones they're using, there's no reason for them to worry about it but if it's something you notice enough to care about, there's nothing wrong with getting better spec stuff.
"Hey pal, tell me your favorite release of 2016. And it better be Dean Blunt or James Ferraro."
What do you say /mu/?
I was in a DJ room with Marcel last night.
He almost banned me because the chat went crazy when I joined and he had no idea who was was until people told him.
He left the room to eat dinner and me and a few RYM guys had a good chat free of shitposting.
When he came back we were talking about lauren and I mentioned how she was a "tranny"
He got mad for me using the "slur" and almost banned me again.
It was an experience to say the least
I got accused of slut shaming because I said a woman should never have more than two sexual partners because the DNA of each man is partially absorbed into the spongey epithelial tissue of the lining of the vagina, (multiplying moreso for each partner, ex. a man whose wife has been with ten other men will have ten other men's DNA in his son or daughter) and now all my friends left me. Music for having no friends?
