New spiritual albums thread?
I'm glad to see my children finding the LORD!
Did disco failed us? Or did we failed disco?
A little bit of both. At the time disco was sort of the wrong direction for music, punk and new wave were the things that were paving the way for the future. In retrospect however there was a lot to be missed by dismissing disco originally.
My favorite thing in music is fuzz/distortion on sections that seem more appropriate for 100% clean guitar
like, arpeggiated, fingerpicked, notes ringing, etc.
Best example is 3:20 in Me Vs Maradona Vs Elvis by Brand New
I loooooove the way the fuzz kind of pulls and crackles the notes together.
El-P is literally a fat Macklemore

Which one is best ?

Rank these 4 albums.
RIP Mike Love
These things I'll be until I die...
I bet this news made Van Dyke Parks Smile huh

2. Artists like Bauhaus, more specifically how they sound in this record?
Awesome. Next record I was gonna check out was Sky's Gone Out.
I'll check those guys out. Closest thing to Bauhaus I've listened to is Talking Heads and Daughters, and they seem to fit nicely in between those two.
>Sremmlife 2 is gonna be a different vibe, it's gonna be what we feel and how we interpret the world

>You're gonna be able to feel the words, you're gonna be able to feel the beats, you're gonna be able to feel the melodies
>It's gonna be something you wouldn't expect. >We...

Is it epic?
other than that one amazing song (you know the one), the album is neutered, overlong, and boring afrobeat shit. it's a good thing I listened to it though so I can say I will never listen to a Talking Heads album again.
