What does /mu/ think of The Dillinger Escape Plan?
probably the best mathcore/ post-hardcore band out. Love the album they did with Mike Patton, its fantastic. I also saw them last time they were in Melbourne - great show, so much energy
One of the first mathcore bands. They're a bit of a mix of avant-garde, alternative, and scatty progressive metal. Basically Faith No More on crack.
how is this not on the /mu/-core chart?
Its some of the best psychedelia Ive ever heard
If there's one thing we need on that dumbass chart, it would surely be more rock music
>psychedelic rock isnt important to music
ITT: We write the lyrics for a Linkin Park song. One line each.

what are ur favorite radio stations
recommending whru and wnyu
WhAt the fuck guys. Why isn't he more famous. This nigga got talent.
Honestly one of the best rappers in the game right now, with an incredible amount of potential. However I feel as though he should stop dropping free mixtapes and actually invest himself into a full album. Nostalgia64 is one of the best hip hop albums from this decade, 32Zel/Planet Shrooms and Imperial is really good as well. It's only a matter of time before he makes it big.
Can we have a Dylan appreciation thread. This man is great.
He released his archives recently, I'm pretty sure the end is near.
And one of the two posts above me is OP samefagging.
Best Neil coming through
Best Lyricist of each decade starting with the 50s.
Judged purely on the words themselves, without consideration for the quality of voice or the quality of the music accompanying it. Words only.
I'll have to think about this one for a bit before I answer.
Buddy Holly for the 50's.
Bob Dylan for all the rest of them.
Dylan needs to be in the conversation for the 60s, maybe a few other decades as well.
I'd at least consider Sufjan or Joanna Newsom for the 00s.
I love Tom Waits. I don't know if he was ever Dylan-tier, but when you take his whole career into account, I think he's one of the best.
Other nominations? I don't know enough good lyricists.
Born in Houston Texas on November 28 1928.
Died recently. Respect to her and her voice.
he was a 32nd degree mason, you know.
haha. thought the keyboardist was her and was terribly confused by the korla pandit impression... then POP.
thanks for sharing op. (also, i wish i had a sweet fucking organ to bang on. great tone.)
Reminder that anyone who judges a musician based off their personality is a turbopleb.
Lmao kill yoirselves fucking kanye kardashian dickriders this douche is an untalented excuse of a "musician". Get over the fact that he got shat on by musicians that take ACTUAL talent unlike him.
Smoking weed for the first time tonight, what should i listen to /mu/?
Who else /listening to the best version/ here?
Kanye scared to release new shit in 2015 because to pimp a butterfly. Releases shit this year instead. Still gets btfo by Kendrick's demo compilation and by deadmau5
Does anyone else think Britney Spears looks dead inside?
she just looks tired desu. being a mom in vegas with a show makes for a weird fucking life. sort of surprised she hasn't called it quits yet, but dunno if her contract keeps her at it or if performing is still something she loves doing. she can't need the money at this point.
also, women kinda fall off a cliff at 30. so maybe that's what you're seeing.
Alice In Chains are a really really good band.
I disagree and I will counter by saying that rock music is really really bad.
So Alice in chains cannot be a good band
