Dude, you're overthinking it, I started when I was 16, played heaps until I was 19, then stopped completely until late last year. I'm 25 now and I'm getting back into it again. You wont be Steve Vai or Joe Satriani, but you will be a capable player and able to play /mu/ core stuff like Spiderland, Loveless, guitar parts on Lift Your Skinny fists etc. Just get in there and do it, get some lessons if you have the time and money too, they do help. You don't need a lot of theory, Efrim from Godspeed...

It's never too late. You just won't be a prodigy

Stevie Ray Vaughan knew absolutely 0 theory, he once said in an interview that theory confused him and he doesn't even know what key his songs are in, he just plays.
>i'm real i'm real i'm really really real
What the hell? I thought this was suppose to be good?
it is
it is
shit hook on a good album. its cringy but but gkmc is overall good enough for the really really real shit not to ruin the whole album imo
Just a reminder that Pitchfork panned the shit out of this.
That album deserved it.
if only panning COULD get the shit out of that
>>63266877
That panned The Fragile too. Bunch of limp wristed numales over there.
Search your daughter's room for daily pleb inspection and you find one of these bad boys in there
What do you do?
smash it, scream at her for 45 minutes, and then cry in the basement like every good father

I would- like any non autistic person, let her discover any band she wants. When I was 16 I unironically liked hip hop. She can only grow out of AM if she listens to AM. It is a gateway to modest mouse or other mainstream bands that are less pleb
>Search your daughter's room for daily pleb inspection
cute

What's the most obscure band/artist you listen to regularly, and what is the most mainstream band/artist you listen to regularly?
>>63266608
>obscure
Thats the most embarrassing word you can ever use when talking about music, I suggest you refrain from using it if you ever want to get laid or be taken seriously.
pic related for most obscure, probs the beatles for most well known

I want you to apologize to OP for being rude
>friend borrows your guitar
>he instantly tunes to drop D
>friend borrows your guitar
>he instantly tunes it to new standard tuning

Nothing wrong with that. Easy enough to tune back, literally takes a second or less.

Why is it considered cool to be a clown nowadays? Whatever happened to the days when it was cool to be real?
You should know OP, you're the biggest clown of them all
It's ironic, self-aware, and subversive, OP.
Are you insinuating that Lil B the Basedgod is a clown? Because if you are you can go fuck yourself. He's cooler and more real than you will ever be.
