Their self-titled is great, It's my third most played album on lastfm (only been scrobbling for five months). Not even nostalgia, I found them from a /mu/ chart last year
They're not even screamo
Have white people conquered hip hop?
Here we have the greatest instrumental hip hop album ever.
The greatest underground/experimental hip hop album ever.
The greatest hip hop album that showcases rapping ever.
And the undisputed greatest overall hip hop album ever (Paul's Boutique).
Two of those are jewish creations
Jewish are not considered white people (except when the narrative seems to fit), Beastie Boys as a matter of fact have always distanced themselves from the 'white' wave of hip hop.
ive listened to this album a couple of times and i dont really get what's so special about it? can someone explain why it is so highly regarded on here? like it's not bad at all... just not incredible
Post your best amateur performances itt
Covers, originals, noodles. Whatever. Potato quality recording and shitty vocals expected.
okay I guess I'll doublepost
I just wrote this song for the Ides of March
it has gratuitous latin that may or may not be correct
shitty vocals as per the thread's stipulation?
ITT we make a rap song. I'll start.
Pull up on a nigga at the wrong spot, Take a picture of ya body that's a snapshot!
ONCE THERE WAS A WAY
I can't decide if revolver is better than Abbey road
Abbey road has really memorable stuff in it, but revolver just... idk 'sounds' better even though it was made years earlier and with outdated equipment
For example, the guitar solo on got to get you into my life, how the hell did they get that tone? Like it's all reverberated and psychedelic, it's fucking beautiful, man..
hi /mu/ i'm drunk let's talk about music you fucking faggots
yea man I loved the byrds. they were never special enough to stand out like other bands with that harmony oriented folky stuff. Like the Beach Boys or The Beatles. Their production was just never in that level. They're like a band for bob dylan fans who want some harmony and just better written music.
Is Pitchfork actually even relevant anymore?
So has this guy said anything about the interview? I don't follow any social media sites but surely he must've right? Like, did he know what he was getting into or if there's anything he said that could give us some idea of why the video was made.. Just curious.
Has there ever been a more generic and mind numbingly boring band than Arcade Fire?
is grimes the new john bon jovi?
do we really need a thread about this boring-ass group every day
I haven't even listened to the fuckin record but I already know what to expect
>Meech and Erick flow well but have nothing AT ALL to say
>Erick's production is tight and polished, well made beats, but ultimately boring and safe, just uninventive derivative shit
>no clever punchlines or other effective turn up shit, no intelligent observations, no deep introspection, etc etc just retarded semi-literate...
