I really thought this was just a meme album. Joke rap and all that. But it really hit me.

How many of us here are failed musicians?
Me, I should have at put more practice in the guitar, and piano. I regret it years later.
>Black Eyed Peas
The bait's so bright I gotta wear shades
>not liking pop
Literally kill yourself. I bet you're some bitter autist who doesn't leave the house. I listen to Pere Ubu, DEVO, The Residents, Sun City Girls, Sun Ra, Boredoms, Fishmans, Whitehouse, and also appreciate the merit of top 40 pop. Open your mind to new music you automatically disregarded as "bad", and you'll find there are some gems and there's a reason why the majority of the populace enjoys it.
Did you know Dave Matthews released a christian version of Ant's Marching?
How do you think things would have been different were this released in 1967 like it was supposed to be? Do you think it would have affected the Beatles mindset going into their next album? Would the entire album have been as successful as Good Vibrations as a single, or would it prove to be another album ahead of it's time like Pet Sounds was? Supposedly the initial response to Heroes and Villains as a single was lukewarm, although someone not enjoying that masterwork is still a mystery to me.
it'd chart at like 30 something
the beach boys were drifting towards irrelevancy in the mainstream by this point anyway. the new thing was psychedelic rock/liberal hippies from SF and the beach boys were seen as conservative 50s surf squares from the bygone era
It'd be influential and critically acclaimed but wouldn't sell that much.
Whats that late 90's, early 00's techno song with the music video where people break into some sort of radio antenna building to send signals to space or some damned thing?
Well, /mu/, which is better?
