Let's be real here guys, no memes, no trolling please. Oasis is literally the greatest musical artist of all time. If you can find me a better song than 'Champagne Supernova' or a better album than 'Definitely Maybe' I would like to hear it because it must be truly incredible. But the thing is, such things don't exist because music in the human race peaked with Oasis. Never again will we experience such an awesome, incredible band that writes anthems for every person on earth.
Now, if you don't like Oasis, I suggest you get the fuck...

Why do people have different tastes in music?
A mathematical solution like 2+2=4 can be universally agreed upon, yet the number one album or song is different amongst everyone and even disputed.
How you experience music is determined by what music you've listened to in the past, and what fits your personal brand. For everyone to agree objectively on a song, at minimum, you would have to make everyone listen to every song ever made.
> Why do people have different tastes in music?
Why wouldn't they? People have different cultural backgrounds and different life experiences which shape their interests and preferences. No two human brains are entirely alike either.
we can all agree he is on the same level as Bob Dylan and Woodie Guthrie right?

What do you do when someone won't shut the fuck up about Bernie Sanders when you are at a concert? I tried Trump and I tried talking about face fucking 70 year olds
switch it up to face fucking 7 year olds full stop and they'll never talk to you again. Problem solved. This also works to get that annoying bitch at work to stop showing you pictures of her kids. The only downside is you might get fired, but at least you wont have to deal with annoying Bernie bros anymore
Shitty songs that you can't help but sing along to
Meh, I'd argue that Hotling Bling is actually a pretty good song. Probably one of the better pop tracks to grace mainstream radio in a long time. Drake's other work never really impressed me, though. I don't get the worship he gets from hip hop fans.
Rate, rec, guess weekend plans

the categories kinda suck (especially the "poppy screamo" which is just some classics that are not poppy at all)

i think that question sums up about 90% of the things people whine about in these threads
Do you think Kurt is proud of Foo Fighters?

album art ahead of its time
Most prog rock covers at the time were some complicated jumbles while this was a really recognizable minimalistic design.
Hey /mu/, can anyone recommend me something like pic?
I'm listening to Selected Ambient Works 85-92 by Aphex Twin for the first time and I'm enjoy that as well.
