What are the two most quintessential songs by Death Grips?

Beware
On GP
Empowerment and the lowest you can go.
>Trying to condense a concept like Death Grips to just two "quintessential" songs
thanks for the laugh, OP
>>63454556
Very difficult as every album has completely different sound.
Beware or Guillotine to represent their early music and Whatever I want because it bridges their dark more electronic production of their middle period and it has the glitchy elements of their latest release.
Is vaporwave cultural appropriation?
Think about it. The use of Japanese culture/aesthetics by American white teenage males. The unauthorized stolen samples of black/japanese artists where the vaporwave producer does nothing but slow it down and slap on some aesthetic title and not give the original credit. Not a good look.
There's nothing wrong with cultural appropriation
Most of it's just slowing down American pop and slapping katakana on the cover.

We can all agree no other rock record this decade has surpassed this right?
>>63453641
Salad days
>>63453688
Nope. Salad Days is just the same song played 11 times.

Brutal Truth - Prey
Has there been a single avant garde album to come out since the year 2000?
I don't mean poseurexeperimentation like animal collective, I mean utter originality.

Who are some experimental rappers? Rappers who produce strange beats or are just bizarre in their flow...
RAED

none more experimental
Maybe Clipping?
I don't even like his music, and I think he's a terrible rapper, but my vote goes to Drake. The guy has zero regard for bars and measures, he just says a line whenever he fucking feels like it. It drives me insane, but it's something most rappers don't do

>haha anon are you listening to the rugrats soundtrack? you're so weird!
Mark Mothersbaugh did the theme, and the first Rugrats Movie soundtrack is pretty sick.
It probably is better than Painting With.

A Different City. Maybe 3rd Planet.

GOAT
>Pet Sounds
>AnCo
Good
>Beatles
Meh
>Memerism
Just stop making these threads, please. It's clearly just shitposting at this point. Hell, it always was at any point. It's four completely different albums that do not need to be compared, especially when looking for a "best" album in a medium that is so incredibly subjective.
If you do this just to shitpost, you are a horrible person and you should leave.
If you do this because you genuinely think there is some grounds for discussion here, please rethink your attitude towards music, because it's very unhealthy.
Pet Sounds > Abbey Road > MPP > Tameshit
Why is this is so praised?
The only good song it's waves all the other ones are fucking shit
Wouldn't call it praised since no one gave a shit about it after a few days

Even the Yeezus hype took more than one year to die. What happened?
its just not good
Remember when /mu/ was good? Remember when you loved Built to Spill?
>>63451811
>Remember when /mu/ was good?
No
Remember when you loved Built to Spill?
I still love Built to Spill. I listen to their entire discography at least once a year and see them live whenever they come to town.
Yeah. I guess there new album was good, but I only listened to it twice.
>>63451890
This. The production on their new album was garbage though and (temporarily?) getting rid of the other 2 guitarists was a horrible call on Doug's part, but I love There Is No Enemy and they're still great live so I look forward to hearing what comes next.
How does /mu/ feel about The Vaccines?
>>63451800
They quickly became irrelevant. Pretty generic garage rock post-punk revival hybrid, don't know what NME and p4k saw in them in the first place. They have some alright songs.
