Best Japanese music that isn't the usual stuff? (Boredoms/Melt Banana/Merzbow/Fishmans/YMO/etc. are all great but we all know them by now)
Am I a weeb for liking this?
It's good music and I don't even like anime.
shiro sagisu renditions of bach are goat
>tfw listen to both of those every time i go out to watch the sun set and smoke
This man will probably be dead soon (maybe even this year, considering the way it's gone so far) and the world will be worse off for it. Post your favourite Cohen songs and stories.
>One night Spector grabbed Cohen, a bottle of Manischewitz in one hand and a revolver in the other. Shoving the gun against his neck, he said, “Leonard, I love you.” Cohen slowly pushed the barrel away, replying, “I hope you do, Phil.”
What a guy.
I hope so!
>Dylan and I were having coffee the day after his concert in Paris a few years ago and he was doing that song in concert. And he asked me how long it took to write Hallelujah. And I told him a couple of years. I lied actually. It was more than a couple of years ... Then I praised a song of his, "I and I," and asked him how long it had taken and he said, "Fifteen minutes." [Laughter]
More like David Buoy!
Why does /mu/ hate Lonerism?
If it wasn't critically acclaimed and universally praised, it would be /mu/core
I love it
tame impala is going downhill with currents, not just evolving
pond is evolving with man it feels like space again, just as good but in a different direction. Makes me think that having a band is better than doing stuff solo
So is there synth on this or not? What the fuck is that flute sounding thing
What do you think about Ladytron's Velocifero? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UXIclCBrcy4
Burning Up, Predict The Day, Versus. They're actually my favorite songs overall from the band and they happen to be on the same album.
Honestly, the only thing that keeps me from rating Velocifero 10/10 is that Season Of Illusions and Kletva should have been better. The rest is top quality.
Is this album overrated?
Just got denied from Columbia University. FUCK THE WORLD.
I need music. Currently listening to Modern Vampires of the City (by Columbian graduates fuck my life)
you should travel instead
college is better with real world experience
i dropped out of community college at 19 or 20, and now i'm back in school and its great
i mean its a trade school but i'm doing what i want
listen to this and you'll forget all about new york
don't listen to this guy
Don't worry opie, you'll get into a good school and forget Columbia even turned you down. When I was applying to law schools, I got turned down from like my top 4 choices but it all worked out in the end.
this guy went to law school, definitely don't listen to him
listen to me, you don't have to leave for long
go get some foreign pussy and drink with the working class for awhile, get some perspective
you'll thank this guy next year, you'll thank me in 10
reminder that rocky racoon is the only good song on the white album
What does /mu/ think of this band?
I honestly thought this band was relatively decent growing up. I liked all of their albums, excluding I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love. (Never clicked with me, honestly, I don't know why. Not even one song.)
Shame that they separated, honestly.
What was the first music-related thing that made you think "fuck, I'm old"?
teenagers need not apply

Getting a gf
>tfw too anxious to go, missed GYBE when they came to Seattle
Your typical /mu/core, Swans especially
Ideally in a few months, but I doubt it
Why are we called /mu/tants and not /mu/sers?
If you were to kill yourself, what song would be playing while you do it? I'll share mine if people show an interest in knowing.
