There are 2 tripfags who cosntantly circlejerk this band
I love them too, have you heard their other albums?
>>63426866
I have not. I've listened to Night every day this week, will definitely check out all their albums eventually.
>>63426866
>>63426896
Also I was hesitant to check them out because of said tripfags, but they really sound like a perfect mix of Radiohead, Talk Talk and Pink Floyd
Is there such a thing as good pop punk?
if so, show me what you got
>>63426011
depends on your measure of 'good'
its pop so its not exactly shooting for high art, just catchy enjoyability, its just stupid fun music you have to take it for what it is, a heaping dose of nostalgia helps so maybe you had to have grown up with it.
>>63426011
>its pop so its not exactly shooting for high art
this is why i laugh everytime i hear "art pop"
>>63426011
If you have a special disstaste for it you won't like anything from it
But anyway, here's the last pop-punk album I loved
Up next: Malaa
After: AlunaGeorge
Now: W&W
Really?
What the fuck is this now?

What's her name, /mu/?
For me it's 50's rock 'n' roll. It's really hard to find any community that acknowledges it any more than in passing.

Have you tried volunteering at a retirement home?
What you wanna do is make a general and no one's really going to reply to it, but you just gotta keep bumping it right before it dies, even overnight, so that the threads last like days or as long as you can keep it up, then slowly people will start paying attention.
Link Wray is BOMB
For me it is drone, drone metal and drone folk mostly. On /mu/ it is very easy to talk about (I guess lol) but in reality life not so much sadly
Time to soundtrack it.

To fans of poseurcore, I have a questions for you: WHY do you like it?
If your answer is "It has nice textures/atmosphere" or "I just like it, I guess", you don't actually know what you're talking about and have the musical intelligence if your average Top 40 listener.
Oh my god fuck off
I just like it, I guess
it's stimulating and engaging. it is interesting to hear new or maybe somewhat innovative or different ideas in music. i am simply exploring music i haven't yet heard.
