Anyone else sick of music? Fuck I used to spend hours sitting on my ass listening to albums for the "experience". I feel like a used whore even though I'm a guy, all that time has been wasted. Seriously fuck music, it's a waste of time and is simple as fuck to make.

It's not bait, I don't enjoy music anymore. It's good as a background thing like when I'm watching TV or movies but it's not something you listen to
>>63561802
god bless you happy hippo

Lostprophets
Rolf Harris
MGMT - Kids
Post want you're listening to right now.
This is amazing. Where else do I go with the beach boys?
>Carl Wilson famously compared Smiley Smile and Smile to "a bunt instead of a grand slam".
So I'd say listen to Smile Sessions. It's amazing. More spacious and epic. Unless you liked the lo-fi aspect on Smiley. In that case I wouldn't know what to recommend.
Here are the Beach Boys classics you should listen to anyway
>All Summer Long
>Pet Sounds
>Smile (Sessions or good bootlegs/fanmade shit)

The obvious top 3 is
1. Pet Sounds
2. Surf's Up
3. Smile Sessions
Definitely Smile Sessions if you liked Smiley Smile. It'll give it a new, fuller experience.
Or you can put it off for a little bit. You might find it more rewarding if you listen to Smiley Smile a little more, then some of their other albums, then return to SMiLE to have a semi-nostalgic feeling, but in a new light.
Trying to get started in the game, on some other shit what you think?
how long did that take you

Sounds like a lyrical spiritual miracle.

> For artists seeking a financial boon from their fans, it might be more important to get them to buy vinyl than watch their YouTube videos, according to new statistics.
>On Tuesday the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) released information that for U.S.-based revenue, vinyl sales outpace income from all free-to-consumer streaming services combined. This includes YouTube, Vevo, Spotify, SoundCloud, and all others.
>Vinyl sold $433.2 million across EPs, LPs, and singles in...

Whelp, time to start pressing my album onto limited edition colored vinyl

>Explain this bullshit, /mu/
vinyl is stupidly expensive but people still buy it. it's fucking gold !!
>>63561374
hipsters are rich kids with too much time on their hands
Is there any psytrance tune that is not complete shit?
>>63561182
Shpongle is actually amazing (if it's psy trance)
Other than that psy trance is not really "good" since the only purpose of this genre is taking psychedelic drug and dance for hours. But as I can see /mu/ is not into having good times and dancing.

grouch
I need something like Crystal Castles.
Crystal Castles
churches
Crystal Castles is shit now that Ethan has to copy Alice's work with some shitty knockoff. Meanwhile Alice is off doing her own thing, and sounding better than ever.
Ethan thought he was the shit, now he's just shit.
>I dunno I just like it. This album is just a bunch of feel good innocent pop songs that fills me with joy of how innocent they are, especially the songs Rockstar and Everyone is Gay. It's always just so cute and a pleasant to listen to......in my room alone without telling anyone of course.

Why do you feel guilty for liking it? I do not understand thesee threads. You're not the only person how likes these pop songs. they are just 'feel good innocent pop songs' and if it makes you feel good liking it then listen to it. Why would you care if you like non-/mu/core?
In imagine the thread means non /mu/core so I suppose its pic related

I disagree I think OP should be ashamed and disgusted with himself, get out of /mu/ normies
>>63561358
Is there more like this classical prog? Actual prog rock sounds like wank, but at least this wank sounds nice and fancy.
>>63561058
>Actual prog rock sounds like wank
You should not listen to prog
looks like you should rather get into Baroque Pop or something along those lines. "Art Rock", maybe
>>63561058
That album is fucking glorious bro, check out more Moody Blues stuff (I recommend EGBDF), Jethro Tull is pretty killer too.
Father, founder of Awful Records, just dropped a new album called I'm a Piece of Shit.
So far the only review I know of is Pitchfork's, which gave it a 7.7/10.
Thoughts on Father? Awful Records?

black ppl who discovered tumblr
theres a shitty trip above me but I'm in for the ethereal features
weird i had an idea for a title name called "Father I'm a Piece of Shit" like 5 years ago. Shared consciousness or something it's fucked up man
Why are so many songs about love? Humans are superficial, men and women, and generally simply want to fuck. Women are whores and men are pigs, true love is very rare. Society has cultivated beta males into writing songs about chicks but that doesn't actually get you laid. You have better luck getting laid by ignoring women and making them think you're better than her.
heres a tip. Beta males aren't writing the songs. Betas are buying them.
This is why I only write instrumental music now.
would slam/10
