ITT: Emotional Climaxes in an album
> I MISS YOU
>RRRRUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNN
>GRRRZZHZHZRRZRHZRHSSSSHGZTTZZ
>FOOR A DOOUUUBLE SUIICIIIIDEEEEEE
is /mu/ patrician?
Not really. Most of it is dumb teenagers who think it's funny to regurgitate memes and be spoonfed and told what is good.

will memes always be as trendy as now? i want them to die
what an album dude
Why can't men fully appreciate music as women?
vaginas act as a chemical pouches that contain hormones that make women feel emotions men normally wouldn't.
i want that shirt
I don't know why men choose to listen to buttrock like Kiss and AC/DC when they could listen to Eliane Radigue and Sachiko M.
I recently bought these and they are really cheap and well built, but I can't for the life of me get them to sound nice.
What earbuds do you use and how do you eq them?
>inb4 using earbuds
>>63566639
My headphones came in a case like that and it annoyed me. Invest the extra money into the sound quality instead of a fancy meme case
Those ear buds are shit. Ordered two pairs off of eBay and they both failed within a month. One earbud went out and the other stopped recognizing when it was plugged in.
to eq properly you'd have to have an idea of what the headphones sound like and what the music SHOULD sound like. it's very simple. what don't you like about the way they sound?

>My headphones came in a case like that and it annoyed me.
>autism
not even blackstar was original top kek
has he ever made ANYTHING original?
Has anyone?
literal overrated hack more known for his wild appearance than his (lack of) talent at composing or perfoming. a trendhopper who basically ripped off other shit that was going on around him and watered it down for a mainstream audience, and his few good albums were collabs with more talented musicians like Eno and Mick Ronson.
>>63566601
>inspired by something = non original
come on dude weak troll
You like Huey Lewis and the News?

Am I alone in not recognizing like 6 of these
>shitty modern "culture" platforms like Fader, Complex, Pigeons and Planes, Hypebeast, etc randomly start telling me that grime is the greatest thing ever
>describe it as a modern day rebellious punk rock type thing
>apparently it's the "sound of Britain"
>apparently the lyrics give listeners a gritty, real depiction of living in the London ghettoes
>decide to give it a listen
>YOU...

devilman is easily the most meme artist in the whole genre (and there are quite a few) and hes from birmingham. youve just had a very surface level introduction to the genre. as with any genre theres good and bad artists/songs.
grow up
>>63566318
Okay mate you're right I will listen to the classic legend Dizzee Rascal who has collaborated with UGK.
Oh it's just a load of songs about beating people up.
Okay don't worry I will give another grime legend, a delightful rapper with the extremely creative name: Ghetto, a chance.
Oh goodie more songs about beating people up.
How about another grime legend, D Double E?
Oh great he's rapping about beating people up AND he sounds beyond autistic!
Okay,...

still pretty entry level and memey artists (with a few exceptions) point is mate what are you expecting? its music to get hype to originally made by very young kids in their bedrooms in underprivileged parts of london. is it high art? no...is it trying to be? no. the point is your completely taking it out of context. the lyrics arent supposed to be deep and introspective on the whole. theyre meant to be things that get people turnt up in clubs and reflect the agression in their lives, its supposed to be fun and catchy...

in search of music that is actually good and that excludes jazz or classical because i have no idea where to start
>>63566175
start with jazz and classical
>>63566175
Ironically, jazz and especially classical are great places to start.
You should listen to Miles Davis, Beethoven, Chopin, John Coltrane, Mozart, the list goes on
I like to walk alone around the city at night
What is some good music to listen to while doing so? So far I have William Basinki, Burial, Duster and Tom Waits
any suggestions welcome
>>63566157
>Interpol - Turn on the Bright Lights
>Aphex Twin - Selected Ambient Works 85-92
>Alien Sex Fiend - Acid Bath
>Bauhaus - Burning From the Inside
>Have a Nice Life - The Unnatural World
I think these would be good for walking around a city at night, maybe I'll try it too.
Tortoise - s/t
Charles Curtis - Ultra White Violet Light
Drive sountrack
How do you "talk music" with someone? How long does the conversation usually last?
What if the other person is a normie?
Try learning music theory and you can talk all day about something.
If you're an idiot like melon, I guess you can talk about how "atmospheric" and "emotional" a song is or whatever other shallow bullshit you can think up.
