What's their best album?
Take into consideration:
>originality
>harmony
>diversity
>lyricism
The White Album is my favorite album of all time. Genius and insane at the same time. All their records are amazing but I find something new in the White Album every time I listen to it. It's a damn rollercoaster.

I need some more hip hop in my life because I'm tired of listening to Nas, GZA, A Tribe Called Quest, Dead Prez and Looptroop Rockers. I need something similar. Could anybody post something that is just fun to listen to?

Riff Raff

Check out the hip hop catalog for Om Records. They've always got some good talent, especially if you like the Tribe's style of jazzy hip hop
Listen to Denzel Curry's new album Imperial

This is Kanye's most challenging album. Argue about it.
>implying Kanye has one good album
>>63570058
I feel like "challenging" is a stupid word to describe music, but it is his most original and creative.
>>63570092
Yeah, he has none.
Now this was really shitty.
How did it get so well received?
Because Bowie died after it released.
Because it's a great album.
Explain why it was shitty to you. Just curious

Pretty good. I like his work with Weather Report and Joni Mitchell too. Haven't checked out any of his other solo stuff though. What else do you recommend?
Much better than most of Weather Report albums that Jaco plays on.
Jaco's Donna Lee actually sounds much cooler and pretty different when you play the chord changes with the recorded track. It's actually very impressive how he came up with all these cool harmonies for his bass solo, but then just went and recorded it without the harmony anyway.

Reminder: this turns 25 tomorrow
Reminder: Anyone who likes that album was almost certainly born years after it was released
>>63569754
Obviously.
>>63569754
what's wrong with that, even if they're 20 that's still about 5 years older than the average /mu/tant
Um...why are they not considered /mu/-core again?...
>>63569724
Because they are popular on /mu/
>>63569724
They're kinda normie-core.
