Tried really hard to like this but I can't. What's the big deal?
there is no big deal, it's a pop album catered to indie kids who read pitchfork
it's a regression from her previous work, which wasn't very good in the first place
don't fall into the trap of thinking shit like this is worthy of serious listening or critique, it's stale cotton candy in musical form
Twee is an amazing genre, but what is the best twee album?
>The Hotelier: An aight emo pop band that make some pretty nostalgic introspective shit
>The World is A Beautiful Place and I Am No Longer Afraid to Fucking Die: A GY!BE copycat with emo leanings and post rock leanings as well.
>Grimes: A subjectively attractive lady who proves why eastern Canadians are cucks. Nice synthpop though.
Trying to find songs that sound similar to these:
I can help you with some baroque stuff
Gesualdo, an italian prince, composed sick and almost atonal shit, killed his wife and her secret lover before hanging their corpses on his castles walls, and died insane. ominous should describe it.
best earbuds under $50?
>pic certainly not related
kinda new to hardcore punk and old school punk, so i started with Black Flag.
where should i go now
this shit is all made with samples from SST Records, including a lot of Black Flag shit, particularly gimmie
What is our generation's anthem? What single song sums up our generation's attitude toward society and politics like Bob Dylan's "The Times They Are a-Changin'" or Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit"?
I think the obvious choice has got to be Halsey's "New Americana"
How does one listen to music when they're IQ is 150, and thus are too depressed to feel any joy or pleasure from the collection of varying frequencies that is a song?
thoughts on pic related?
I find it really great
is it considered 'brutal-prog'?
please dont say that only 4 people on the internet say that and they are all on rym so that says something
The album is not very good its that kind of wank music like Yowie Behold... The Arctopus and Orthrelm
it's a useful tag for the niche of "that kind of wank music" though, so i'm using it
calling it extreme math rock also gets the idea across, though
first time i thought i really "got" that album felt some kind of spiritual epiphany for me, not quite sure what it was but it was great
It's Weezer's follow up album to their debut. It was just as good. Not better, not worse. Matt Sharp left the band after Pinkerton to form the superior band The Rentals.
Someone explain to me, in what way is Kanye West, figuratively speaking, NOT a god
What triggers you, /mu/? I'll start.
>I really don't like Justin Bieber, but "Sorry" was really good
>Kanye West is god
>Who's Death Grips?
WISH I COULD TURN BACK TIME
can i like this?
