Have you ever broken a record out of pure frustration/anger? I've been told I'm a really hot-tempered listener, and it's quite true. If the album is highly acclaimed and it isn't "clicking" with me after a few listens i lose control and break them. I've lost a nice handful of supposedly "classic" records because of this.
Does anyone else have problems with this?
Modern music would be much better of if rock just never happened.
True or false?
No bandcamp thread so I'll ask you guys straight up, is my music good? I want to make an album but I feel my music is too weird, should I go down a notch and do standard verse-chorus music or should I keep trying to make one of these atrocities made in long sad nights good? Like should I keep going in this direction?
Thank you, I'm planning to add bass to it, and none in particular just a bit of Here Comes The Indian comes to my mind. I want to do more vocal experimentation but my mic is too bad.
I just discovered The Bones, they're pretty good but do you know of any other bands like this?
I really like how songs like CranbrookEstates capture this bumfuck Mid-Western shithole town feeling, hanging in some run down Cul-de-sac as young disenfranchised people, anymore music that capture these feels? Super hopeless type of emotions, like my life
C'mon...NoShirt is so depressive, gimme some more, I need my IQ to drop a little more
No I am serious by the way, I am just shit posting to get things going
What does /mu/ seriously think about Elmo tho? I feel he has some potential but the gimmick of really really short songs is just a facade to cover the fact he can't really drop a proper album
DUDE AVANTGARDE LMAO
DUDE INCOHERENT SONG STRUCTURES LMAO
DUDE BAD SINGING ON PURPOSE LMAO
DUDE WEIRD-FOR-THE-SAKE -OF-BEING-WEIRD LMAO
This is bad.
It was the other way around for me. I really like this album on my initial listen, and it was my first AnCo album, but after I heard a few of their other releases I didn't like it as much anymore.
Maybe it was because I listened to it too much and got tired of it.
does /mu/ like grime music?
>Chasing the only meaningful memory you thought you had left.
>With some pretty, bright and bubbly terrible scene
>That was doing her thing on your chest.
What did he mean by this?
If his next album is another great one is he a legend?
How can it be improvisation if the songs on the albums are pre-written?
This is my favorite song, I want to know if \mu\ likes it
>I don't care if you know what my secrets are.
I don't think anyone thought it was a secret...
I'd still smash though.
ITT: we post music that's way under the radar that sounds great.
I fucking love this
Great spring music
More like it?
I just bought pic related today. I plan on learning. I'm trying to get away from the computer some more so I thought I'd try and learn a new instrument.
Besides YouTube, what are some good resources to start learning the harmonica? I've always loved this instrument but I never actually thought of learning it until now.
I'm unemployed for the time being so I plan on practicing for at least 1-2 hours every day.
So far I've been practicing just trying to play single notes without accidentally playing two or more at once. Some of the YouTube videos are good but I'd like some more tutorials if anyone has any ideas.
literally the worst instrument, only good maybe for blues music which suck as well
don't bother, pirate a daw and learn actual music
