His voice became way deeper after that

who /hate rap but talented at rapping/ here?
i've wrote poetry since i was around 6 years old, recently found out i'm a really good rapper. the thing is i fucking hate rap, rappers, rap culture, and all that goes along with it. should i just fake it for the chance of getting big?

I've personally never been able to get into Nirvana, I can listen to their stuff but it doesn't 'wow' me. Something about it seems too simplistic and lazy (e.g power chords etc). Was it because they weren't very musically proficient that they were only able to produce basic kinda songs?
Anyone else the same?
Educate yourself on their background first. They didn't come from a scene that emphasized technical proficiency. Just looking at Nirvana as a mainstream success is seriously half of the story.
