I'm finally getting into the Beach Boys (I listened to Pet Sounds and Surf's Up)
Now which version do I listen to?
What are the main differences between them?
More chinese rock?
I'm listening to Cui Jian and really digging it, and frankly I'm surprised that a country with 1/7th of the population isn't better represented in what we listen to. Does /mu/ listen to any good chinese musicians?
Pinkerton > Blue > White > Green > EWBAITE > Maladroit > Red > Hurley > Make Believe > Raditude
I would swap EWBAITE for green, but everything seems good from my perspective. It appears Cuomo has recognized the criticism aimed at him for his playing towards a younger audience as opposed to playing the more mature stuff he's capable of doing. I don't rate the white album as a comeback conceptually, but musically it surely is a step in the right direction. Plus, they really have improved their live act.
why do so many retards think TMS is the height of their discography?
the fact of the matter is that exmilitary is their best work followed by niggas on the moon.
this is coming from someone who thinks that hot head is one of their best songs to date and has high expectations for bp and believes that it will top their first album.
I'm sick of seeing this nigger's face on /mu/. He's not good, he just mumbles into the mic and says "dude i smoke weed fuck hos adfanhkadfhkna xanies lol". He's a youtube comment stereotype of hip hop come to life. He's an embarrassment and a disgrace. Fuck all of you who post this guy and like him. Go back to /r/hiphopheads or ironic Facebook and quit ruining this once great community.
>not getting Young Thug
this fool has never been to a party
listen to this song right now and tell me young thug isn't a melodic genius
very few can touch him right now
Holy shit. I know this album gets talked about all the time, but I've never actually taken the time to listen to it.
About a minute into the song Sunbather, I got really choked up. I'm still listening to it for the first time, going through.
Holy shit I never knew metal could be this beautiful, and I've listened to it for over half a decade. I strongly implore any fan of the genre to check this out right now if you've been putting it off.
Not shilling, I don't know what to tell you man but please give this album a try, I've been having a pretty mediocre week that's just turned around today and after this great day, this album is really accentuating my mood.
Considering how dissapointing have been the last releases of bands that gained a high reputation in the "indie" label (AnCo, Beach House, Deerhunter, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Arcade Fire, Wild Nothing, DIIV, Savages, The Horrors, Foals, Yuck, Ringo Deathstarr, A Place To Bury Strangers, and a few others) i guess it's time to assume that their time is done, also considering that most of them have released more than 3 LP's already.
In their last records, most of them have only showed an uninteresting and boring repetition of the same old tricks and formulas...

Is he the voice of our generation?
Considering this generation does nothing but partake in degeneracy and live off a diet of xanax/alcohol/weed/semen/memes then yes, yes he is. He encapsulates everything wrong with Western civilization at the moment.
What age did you grow out of pussy metal?
Genuinely good music or repetitive, patience-testing, pretentious noise?

Whats your opinions on twenty one pilots?
So we can all agree that music would be better if rock had never happened, right?
i'm an iroquois ontarioan alcoholic, grew up in sudbury and lived on or close to a reservation most of my life. goddamn if this album doesn't encapsulate the canadian or ontarioan spirit more than anything else. the bleakness, the frigidity, the nihilism, it's like looking outside at the fucking pines and factories. what album is a perfect soundtrack for where you live?
album is Signs Reign Rebuilder by Set Fire to Flames btw
