Hey, first time /mu/ poster. I'm on a long walk home and was wondering what your guy's suggestion be for an anon that feels completely tired of music.
>>63791875
try exploring jazz. Maybe some minimalism, or take a break and find new hobbies. That's what I did.
>>63791915
I guess what I should ask is what should I listen to now that I feel like I don't wanna listen to metal anymore. Or not as much of it. I feel it's all I've listened to these past few years and I wanna cut it easy.
>>63791997

Essential Industrial Hip-Hop

There you go.
There aren't as many names as you'd think, especially for a genre that's been around for decades now.

Jewel Case or DigiPak?
Personally, I prefer jewel cases. You can replace them if they are damaged, they don't break or bend easily, and the liner notes are easy to access. Plus, it just feels better in the hands. I know that sounds strange, but you know what I mean/
>>63790637
Listening to that album is no different than having feces slam into your ear drums at such an incredible speed that you suffer permanent hearing loss.
Please. Anyone out there? Reply...

Holy kek
This is one of the best psychdelic pop albums of the decade. It feels clearly indebted to tame impala 'lonerism', it was produced by kevin the same year. I reccomend this for anyone who loves lonerism.
>inb4 tame impala pleb jokes

Explain your favorite kind of music without heavily relying on genre names. Be as descriptive as you want.
i dunno
I like what sounds good? Rock/Pop I guess
>>63790605
I'll start. I enjoy heavily nostalgic hip-hop with liberal use of boom-bap beats, jazz influences, and loose cymbal playing.
>>63790605
I like music where a group of musicians works as a team to improvise melodic and rhythmic variations on a theme.
