Need study music, a compilation or maybe a double disc album, I usually use Meddle but its too short even with echoes

I liked the latest Telepath album for studying. Also anything by Gas, preferably Pop or Koenigsforst
Listen to krsutrock/progressive electronic records, they are great for studying. Recommended artists: Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze, Popol Vuh, Terry Riley, Cluster, Ashra, Manuel Göttsching.

Or even worse

i like that if the riff is good
>>63802764
this desu it's a rock and roll classic (the string one, the half-step one seems terrible)
Why is this album so underrated?
It's the most perfect album I've ever heard yet it's barely mentioned on this god-forsaken music board.
>inb4 "hurr durr it's only a subjective 10/10."
If more people had listened to it, it would overtake ITAOTS as this board's favorite album.

>>63802685
People talk about this album a lot on this board, it's about a 9/10 for me but more people on this board have heard Pet Sounds - a better album.
Oh and this board is not a hivemind
>>63802685
I don't think it's underrated. I think it is generally considered part of the "greatest of all time" dadcore lists.
It's a classic, I think most of us know about it and many love it. I do anyway.
>>63802706
I haven't been able to get into Pet Sounds, I'm afraid it's just not my style. Yet I liked Forever Changes right away.

Underrated but not never seen.

>>63802304
Interesting ranking, could you explain why?
>>63802325
I like the songwriting first of all, lots of catchy melodies fun choruses and the whole album has a really loud and energetic sound. The transitional pieces were a really nice touch as well, gave the album a cohesive sound that you don't really get in other AnCo albums.
I know a lot of people hate the supposedly muddy production but I really love it. So many different sounds all at once all working together to make really catchy pop songs IMO.
The only weak track is Pulleys, just feels a little...

What did you think of MPP and Painting With
Experimental rap/Noise rap/Alternative rap/indie rap/nu-hop/psychedlic rap/conscious rap/backpack rap, etc. general, Charles Hamilton is (probably) the GOAT edition.
Basically any rap music that pushed the genre forward, average rappers go elsewhere.
I didn't like most of the album but I always liked Crescent Moon and the Shake Your Bones is fucking great.

Another great track from last year that pushes the genre. This is what I imagined rap being like in the future when I was a young teen. Myka 9 is hit or miss to me but one cannot deny that he's always pushing the boundaries of the genre.

>Charles Hamilton - At Most I'm Just...
Probably one of my top 5 experimental mixtapes.
Basically a Charles Hamilton mixtape with nothing but Incubus samples. Some really great musical moments, lyricism and imagery.
rank the velvet underground, here is my ranking. (squeeze does't even fucking count m8)
Selftitled is my favorite by them, then loaded, it's a close tie between nico and white light/white heat but I would problaby put nico ahead. They're all great albums though, with exeption of squeeze.
>>63802001
Is squeeze any good? I know it doesn't have Lou, but if you ignore the Velvet Underground title, how is it?

Hot garbage
Do you ever just feel torture by being alive? So many things you want people to understand, but they don't, engrossed by the complete meaninglessness of life, the suffering of loneliness and pain of enduring it all, but everyone seems to think that it's all an ironic joke, like a record spinning inside their head that's on a half in vinyl record that just says the same meme over and over again and repeats over and over again. I remember the first time I felt this way, it was some time in early elementary school, I started to wonder if I had enjoyed life more when...

Do you think classical composers would enjoy jazz.
>>63801731
Beethoven would have tried weed and been like "dis is gud shitten!"
>>63801731
Given that almost all major composers prior to the 20th century were accomplished improvisors I'm pretty sure most of them would enjoy most forms of jazz
