Yung Lean isn't a rapper for people who think they have "diverse music taste", that has nothing to do with it. Yung Lean is a rapper for people who need to realize that they aren't alone in their struggles. Yung Lean is not for everyone, unfortunately. Yung Lean is for the few, the proud, and the emotional
>>63925355
I think lean is starting to think that he really is a thug.
It's weird he went from a young ironic autist to a full blown retarded rapper.

What song are you most excited about?
>The World Looks Red / The World Looks Black
Mainly because we haven't heard anything from this one, and it uses lyrics Gira wrote back in the no wave days.

Am I imagining things or did I read something about some potential Sonic Youth lyrics? The no wave thing you mentioned reminded me of that.
I've mostly paid little attention to electronic music until now. However, yesterday I bought pic related on a whim and enjoyed it.
Could you guys recommend some music that is similar to this? Or just some other electronic music that a newb should check out?
No worries friendo, these are all top rated 9/11 songaroos

DJ Dan - The Remix Collection
Funky stuff.
Sasha actually makes what's called dance music. It's a whole genre separate from electronic music. That's what you're looking for OP
The classic hypothetical. You're sent to an island for the rest of your existence. Banished from the world. Some dude feels sorry for you, tells you that you can take one album with you.
What album do you take?
Pic related, and is my answer.
siamese dream. it's got a good cross section emotionally
but in the classic hypothetical (i.e desert island discs ala 1942) you got to choose 8?
The best option

I don't get why Marilyn Manson became as big as he was? Literally he had no hit songs, people know him more for his name than his music. His first album wasn't successful by commercial standards at all, nor was the EP that followed. How the hell does that make sense? What even made him famous? I'm just really fuckin confused why he became literally as big/influential as someone like Elvis. It doesn't make any sense! /marilynmanson/ explain for me?
>>63924817
>Literally he had no hit songs
that's objectively untrue. Sweet Dreams was huge on mtv back in the day and he's had some other singles chart. His persona worked really well in the music video format. Also, Antichrist Superstar is a pretty good album, though Trent Reznor was a big part of that
>>63924817
He and Reznor capitalized on that brand of industrial rock at the right time. Until then Manson was edgy as fuck as far as mainstream showmen went. They were so big they spawned a shit load of NIN copycats.
What's the best Pink Floyd album? Why and what tracks make the best? Go ;)

Is Rap modern day Poetry? Are Ice Cube or 2pac for example comparable to Goethe?
It is, but that doesn't mean it's good

If Brian Wilson and Mike Love were to get married whos name would they share? (Who would wear the pants in the relationship)
what do /mu/ think about this album? be honest.
No matter what you think about it , you can't deny its influence on modern metal
Why is nu metal making a resurgence? I never thought this awful joke of a genre would go from garbage to Nirvana-tier overrated garbage.
>>63924590
I fucked with korn when i was like 14. But now it seems kinda low brow. Im not really into metal but i do like this album
HEY EVERYONE, THE INTERNET'S BIGGEST FAGGOT HERE. I ONLY DISPLAY CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED ALBUMS ON MY GRAILS COLLECTION, CLAIM TO HAVE UNIQUE TASTE BUT STEAL ALL MY REVIEW IDEAS FROM PITCHFORK.
