If we're so much better than reddit and the like, then it shouldn't be hard to make a much better list right?
Post an album you think should qualify for a top 100 list, and quote any album you would like to nominate. Rinse and repeat for a few threads. The 100 albums with the most nominations at the end are our list. Done.

3 months artists
so uh how are you guys today
What does /mu/ think of the new Weezer album?
Its a solid 8.5 out of 10 and their best album since pinkerton. The green album had some ok tracks but everything afterwards was garbage until e.w.b.a.i.t.e. I will definitely be listening to it a lot this summer.
Anthony Fantanos favorite album
Solid 9/10 imo
Their best since Pinkerton

Do you think Nirvana would have aged as well if Kurt hadn't of died?
The answer is always no now fuck off.
I sometimes wonder what they'd be like today, I mean look at Foo Fighters. Maybe it's a good thing he was killed
>implying nirvana aged well

Handlebars is definitely the worst song of all time.
We all agree, yes?
>>63928716
Self-explanatory, like the helmet your parents make you wear.
What's so great about this album?
I just listened too it and it seemed really generic.
Like many acclaimed albums it takes a few listens to get it

the lyrics are relatable to the pathetic nerds that frequent this board

Daily reminder British music is superior to music from all other countries combined
I'm not british or even by descent, it's just the truth
And oasis is the best also the stone roses and radiohead
April fool's was last week you doofus.
I am British and it's still the truth
Philip Glass is a genius, looking for more modern Classic / minimalism like this
Pretty much anything by Steve Reich, who is better.
Glass is good, but his orchestral works can be lacking
>>63929049
>pretty much anything
could you narrow it down there?
>>63928566
Philip Glass is the worst out of the big minimalist composers. Listen to Reich, Adams, Riley, even Pärt or Taverner if you want choral stuff, but Glass is a waste of time.
>album has tribal influences
>the drummer is a neanderthal
>album has only vocals
