I know there's a couple of these threads up already but they're actually getting some nice responses.

CDs are cheaper to buy and most people have CD players or a computer.
Why would I buy something that needs a table and good headphones and I can't rip and copy it losslessly, unlike a CD?
Now, I'm not saying that vinyl collectors are bad, but I just don't see the point in vinyl for me.
Post 2 dates in the year. And an album. Other's will listen to the album that corresponds with their birthday then comeback and rate it.

I saw them in Paris, doing a few Velvet songs with John Cale. They were great.
Is there any other IDM or ambient techno or whatever you want to call it that's as good at creating a distinct atmosphere as the big names? Stuff like SAW 85-92, Tri Repeatae and MHTRTC/ Geogaddi all have very unique atmospheres that you can get lost in... I want to dive deeper, but I find myself underwhelmed by generic bleeping a lot of the time. pls help
Either Orblivion or Orbus Terrarum by The Orb
Bump for more
Some Biosphere albums have that athmosphere, but then again I guess it's one of the "big names". Same could be said of Lifeforms of FSOL, which is one of my favourite albums of all time.
Deepchord - Liumin has a pretty nice soundscape and athmosphere. It's dub techno and mainly 4/4 but if you can live with that, I suppose you might like it.

Alright, I guess I will.
It's a recycling bin of alternate universe early 2000's top 40's hits remixed and over dubbed relentlessly with some screaming, Alvin and the Chipmunks sounding weeb on the vox.
The absolute worst album I listened to all last year.
