is there any other album with lyrics like this?
>posting a pleb as fuck album
>posting a 9gag-tier reaction image when the response is another entry-level band
Misunderstood geniuses or overrated hacks?
As much hate as these guys get, in all honesty, they're miles above 90% of the shit coming out nowadays. At the end of the day, these guy's are just making music the way they want and doing it well. Too many groups lately are trying to shoe themselves into specific genres. I mean, Zeppelin's catalog spans many types of music and sounds because they were interesting enough to just make music and not model all their shit the same way. I see that in these 21 pilot guys as well. Bring the hate
>how to trigger /mu/: the group
Seriously though, I've never actually tried to listen to them. I've heard them on the radio or at parties a couple of times but I haven't given them enough attention to have an actual opinion. They seem like the big "alternative" thing to like right now, which I guess is a spot that always has to be occupied by something.
whats that song you have on repeat /mu/?
how do you say einstürzende neubauten?
More like The Trash! Am I right fellas!?
More like The fact that so many books still name the Beatles as "the greatest or most significant or most influential" rock band ever only tells you how far rock music still is from becoming a serious art. Jazz critics have long recognized that the greatest jazz musicians of all times are Duke Ellington and John Coltrane, who were not the most famous or richest or best sellers of their times, let alone of all times. Classical critics rank the highly controversial Beethoven over classical musicians who were highly popular in courts around Europe....

>album is one track
>110 minutes long
>first track is 4 minutes long
why rap/hip-hop is such trash now, compared to mid 90's/early 00's?
>repetitive as fuck
>simplified to the point of rhyming nigga with nigga
>shitty overhyped trap beats
>all these autotune "rappers" sounding the same
>lyrics making no sense
I just want boombap to return...
Nice post hopsin
so i've been having a musical rennaiseance over the past two years or so, I've amassed a sportify collection of roughly a thousand songs, but i still feel as though i know very little about music, what are some core albums/bands that define their generes?
this is exactly what i was looking for, thank you
here's my playlist if anyone cares https://play.spotify.com/user/12175850561/playlist/2EBSEmQxb9Wc3NS4eAgr0E
also i guess my fav bands?
Cage the Elephant
Little Green Cars
I looked at your playlist. If you didn't sound so sincere, I would think this was bait. Start listening to albums instead of playlists. Let an album sink in by listening to it multiple times.
Tell me, /mu/. What's your long car drive playlist made up of? Genres/Years/Bands?
Public transport or stupid fucking bicyclists need not respond.
I heard somewhere that listening to music while already focusing on another task, i.e. not consciously listening will give you a greater sense of "understanding" the next time you hear that same music.
I listen to Torture Killer, and Torture Killer only.
JUST FUCK MY SHIT UP FAMPIRE
Is it just me or is /mu/ and the rest of 4chan extra shitty lately?
>Albums atheists will never understand.
The leader of the Bayou Club
One of the biggest reasons I stopped watching a few years ago was The Wyatt Family's lack of direction, I remember them taking in Daniel Bryan and that could have been a really legit storyline but it ended in a week.
Age of Adz appreciation thread
Best Sufjan imo
Also does anyone have that pic with the I'm not fucking around caption?
