way to go, sherlock
good to know since i do it all the time
>Rating it anything less than a 9/10
kek
>>64069475
2/10 because cover art makes me laugh, other than that... expecting anything but shit from kanye, kek
If I were pitchfork, I'd probably give it a 7.9 desu one of those bitch ratings
A 3/10 is fair. Completely and thoroughly trashy. Basically nothing is good about it.
Is it wrong if I heard viper for the first time today and genuinely like the songs on pic related?
I feel kinda dirty
>>64069464
Nope its a good album
>>64069464

This album sounds like total shit. How come no-one ever acknowledges this? It's hard to even focus on the songwriting because of the tinny, flat production. It sounds like it was recorded on a laptop mic or something. What the fuck is with that? I know the tech wasn't the best in that era but plenty of albums from the time don't have this problem
>How come no-one ever acknowledges this?
People do.
>It's hard to even focus on the songwriting because of the tinny, flat production.
You are retarded.
>tinny, flat production
What the fuck are you talking about?
Even though the original recording is mono, its warm and suits the music well.
if the mono bothers you just find the stereo remixes they made, that might be better for you.
I didn't know that the original recording is mono. I learned something new today.
Is there a group that has done less for music than white Americans? Europe gave us classical and most rock genres worth discussing (prog, krautrock, post-punk etc.). Even black Americans gave us jazz, blues and soul. And Afrobeat is better than most (white) genres to come out of the US. I suppose it's not surprising that a nation of consumers has no creative spark.

Inventing a genre is not the only nor necessarily the greatest creative endeavor a composer can undertake

Yeah ok, Grimeth.
Face it, there's no reason she wouldn't have come out with this after the first one.
Is there a bigger case of JUST in music?
D'Arcy didn't even look like the D'Arcy in your head in the 90's. You know these bands from videos when they were dragged (usually kicking and screaming) into green rooms to be fussed over by people who specialize in making other people look good. By and large no one from that scene placed a high value on appearance, (even though being in their 20's many were naturally attractive) even when they were in a media spotlight.
Now tell me again why you are surprised that she doesn't look as good in a mugshot as she did 2 decades earlier in orchestrated...

Pretty good debut

Hung Up is one of the best pop songs of all time
that ABBA sample is funky af
Can someone explain what is the appeal of this song? I've listened to it several times and still consider it a hardly 4/10.
it's catchy, kimbra has a very good voice and he kinda sounds like sting, it's also a good breakup song, much more original than people give it credit for
6/10
