i hope you're not trolling because i actually agree with you
>>64126498
i am not, it is a terrible album
What did /mu/ think of this when it came out?
Shit, like all his other compositions.
>>64126470
Why are they shit?
>>64126286
I thought it was pretty great. I found the unapologetic motives for creating an accessible album for environmental purposes to be refreshing. It's not academic, and it's not heady, but I found it to be a satisfying listen simply for its ambiance.

the album is 90% clicks and whispers
>tfw I'm not attractive, have a stocky/chunky body, short, little confidence, only two good friends

Thank you for the link, I like this song, but it makes me sad that Kurt did commit suicide in the end. It doesn't give me much hope for myself.
Thank you though. It's still nice to listen to.

what effect pedals and other distortions do i need to achieve the dirtiest guitar sound?
>>64125361
Throw dirt into your speakers obviously.
>achieve this tone
>obtain this tone
when did guitar players get like this?
Bowie thread
Discuss songs, albums, Bowie in general.
What is his best song? Album?
There's not much that hasn't been said before.
Best albums depends on your taste. Low and less so Heroes are more experimental. Station to Station is more melodic. Then there is other good stuff like Ziggy, Scary Monsters and so on. Haven't listened to his last record yet.

What are your thoughts on Heroes?
>it's a "I have tinnitus for life and doctors can't do anything about it" episode
Ryoji Ikeda
Whydo you have to remind me of this suffering?

Which memerapper are you kids pretending is the new Mozart now until the next FotM one comes along and you forget the last?

kendrick is the only one there actually making good music. Fight me faggots

There's no need to Wap to be there. Is he even still relevant these days? At least go for Yachty or Bada$$
Wanna get into them, where do I start?
start at the beginning
end with that
>>64124949
Children of God or The Great Annihilator
and do not start with SFTB, it's their least indicative work
dumb cunt just torrent and lsiten the shit
It's a potato
It's a coconut cut in half
It's a fucking onion are you blind
It's a fucking drum for the millionth time. You can even see it on the back of the cd
ive been thinking about this album allot, it has good prose and intresting conflicts and the music, i would like to get some ideas from you /mu/
>>64124714
well it's about the moon, yeah, but also, it's about antartica
>>64124714
It's about smoking that micro (ok_hand)
>>64124714
You have to look at it as the opposite of The Lonesome Crowded West. Basically you've got LCW dealing with hot feelings (a lot of anger), and Moon deals with the colder feelings (loneliness, sadness). Other than that I don't think the concept goes much deeper
every single person out there believes their taste in music is superior to others, prove me wrong
>>64124584
Why would we need to though?
>>64124584
There are 3 people on /mu/ whose taste have always impressed me and their knowledge surpassed me, but to everyone else, they're all pleb af to me.
jesus, why is this board such a bag of pretentious, judgemental dicks?
Why has this album been forgotten by pretty much everyone?
It's mostly pop, but the good kind. The album has very little if any filler and half of the songs are solid single material. The lyrics actually bring the feels.
superior album
>>64124455
It depends on your taste, but it doesn't change the fact that Garbage has been forgotten in general
>>64124517
i was listening to them last night, their albums were reissued recently. what are you talking about?
what /mu/'s opinion on this?
the title says it all
great album, bridges hip hop and instrumental jazz very well
I like it. I mean it's not like they're trying to do anything revolutionary but they make fun music and they're obviously talented
