What did he mean by this?
What is the most unique album you've ever heard, good or bad?
i mean that's fantastic album but i feel like you haven't done a lot of digging if a fairly standard R&B album buried beneath layers of fairly standard IDM, glitch and noise sensibilities is the most unique album you've ever heard
>i really like this

Will pop-punk ever be mainstream again?
Pic related really blew my mind not too long ago, maybe it's just a bit of a dry spell but I've found really mind blowing bands are getting fewer and farther between the more I get into music and the more jaded I become. Any recommendations for someone who regularly listens to noise, drone, harsh noise, power electronics, lower case, free jazz, industrial, no wave, kraut-rock, minimalism, post minimalism, and totallism and wants to hear something wholy new to him? (Bonus points if it's contemporary)

Does /mu/ still do weekly 3x3s?
Post in this thread your favorite live performers. I'll start.
I knew a kid that got knocked out at football practice and instead of using smell salts they opened up a cage and grime came out and squatted right on his little jock nose.
He woke right the fuck up.
ITT: We compile a playlist suitable for a gym where you work out with other plebs.
>should be appropriate for gym environment
>should not be too patrician that it puts off plebs who ask for it to be changed.
>still should be good or better than the trash that your gym plays.
>The gym comprises of people in early 20s who have no taste in music at all.
Currently the small gym that I attend plays really terrible and repetitive mashups of popular edm or rap songs. It is fucking killing me. My ears bleed. Please help.
Lets see how well /mu/ does when given such tight constraints.

How much money do you think Fandango has collected between his youtube channel, special offers, bonus reviews, tshirts, slipmats, posters, sponsored content? I thik he's got more than 125 million views between all his videos, and youtube pays you about 1000 dollars for 1 million views, so in his videos alone he's made about 125.000 dollars at least
There are not enough people getting paid to repeat the same fucking musical buzzwords to describe an album.
What do you guys think about Mac Demarco?
You know the deal
GYBE - Lift Your Skinny Fists
I'll keep fucking saying this, it's impossible to enjoy listening to music if you're truly depressed. While you're depressed emotions are non-existent, therefore there is no catharsis. Most music, including depression-core, is a form of sublimation which leads to comfort and pleasure (think of relishing sadness). This capability is lost while you're depressed. There are no good or bad emotions to bask in. When you make another thread begging for suicidal music recs because your ex tagged you on fb, think again faggot.
