Milton Nascimento - Milagre dos Paixes

>Zingo! It's fun
So do you guys like The Needle Drop or nah? I heard /mu/ doesn't like him.
>>64138057
I don't mind him. He just seems to be arbitrarily contrarian sometimes...
>>64138057
I hate his opinions on rap
I respect his opinions, but I don't always agree.
He tends to like his music on the noise side, I don't.
What do you boners think of this list?
I know how you like to shit on lists like these so have at it if you dare,

To Pimp A Butterfly needs to number 1
>War on Drugs #15
holy fuck abort
>Kamasi Washington "the ebin" at number 1
>Run the Jewels at #9
>TPAB at #2
I like Run the Jewels but they arent doing anything that hasnt been done before really just wiht more critical acclaim. Also TPAB is a great album but a lot of the praise its gotten is due to it dropping during all the black lives matter and police shooting stuff. "The Epic" at #1 is just a fucking travesty and discredits any and all of the authors opinions

>tfw the best band during Coachella last night was one I'm not even very familiar with
These guys are way more Todd Rundgren-y than Tame Impala. Why have I never listened to them until now?
>>64137544
I Like UMO but they dissed sun kil moon so fuck them
>>64137596
What did they say?
>>64137596
OP here. Actually got into a Twitter fight with the frontman over his SKM diss. That was about as far as my familiarity with them went before last night.
Just a reminder that this is the best King Crimson album.

skrewdriver
Does anyone here feel that it peaks at the first track "Never meant".
After this none of the songs are nearly as good and are over-repetitive and sound very very similar.
Never meant basically sets the sound/tone of the album and every other song uses the same sound over and over but never nearly as well.
I always listen to never meant and then change the album after it finishes.
Anyone else feel this way? (posted this in some other thread but wanted to ask everyone)
i'll see you when we're both not so emotional is prob the best track, though.
>>64137354
Wurlitzer is the best track though
>>64137354
I honestly feel the same. They at least could've kept it for the end, like a reward for surviving all that lameness.
I know you guys love to hate on theneedle drop but he's not the worst reviewer on youtube. Point in case, this faggot. What do you guys think about ARTV.
>>64137347
Just leave him alone, he doesn't have this whole board by the balls like fantano does
"I've always considered myself a pretty big fan of Owl City" - this fucking guy
His taste is an absolute joke. I can't believe he's become a semi big YouTuber
I'm playing chess. Any music for this feel?
Syd Barret - The Madcap Laughs
>>64137318
Yes - I've seen all good people
>>64137318
Favorite album? Do you prefer his solo work or The Stooges? What do you think of Post Pop Depression? Have you been to any of his Post Pop Depression concerts?
>>64137177
I personally prefer The Stooges stuff, but I really enjoy Post Pop Depression. Funhouse is a 10
>Favorite album?
Lust for Life
Raw Power is his second best.
>Do you prefer his solo work or The Stooges?
I can't decide.
>What do you think of Post Pop Depression?
Surprisingly great, it's the best thing he has made in over twenty years.
>Have you been to any of his Post Pop Depression concerts?
I went to the Orpheum Theatre MA show and the Capitol Theatre NY show. Both shows were incredible, Iggy and the band were in top...

I like to listen to his stuff with the Stooges when I'm in the mood for garage and punk but Lust for Life is a definite feel good album for me.
