What do you think makes a great vocalist/front-man?
Pic related is in my opinion a great vocalist/front-man, but if you don't agree, that's fine, please share your opinions.
Starpower. Charisma. Originality.
IMO being a good music is not a prerequisite for being a great frontman. I hate Aerosmith but I recognize that Steven Tyler is (well, was) a badass frontman. I like MGMT but their live performances are absolutely meh because Andrew is not a fun frontman
I find Mizutani to be a rather strange frontman, because I think he's a very good one, but he breaks most of the "good frontman" laws - he has no charisma, he's not very energetic, his vocals aren't the focus of his songs, and he has no real presence off stage. Yet his mysterious nature manages to make up for it.
You see that weird guy with the glowing eyes at the top? That's you.
Oh yeah? Well you see those weird jellyfish tentacle things over there? That's you, that's what you look like.
Well fuck you. You see that hick? That's what YOU look like.
Any fl studio fags on here ? I got a question for you. When using a 808 bass kick, how do you know which note you are supposed to use ? My 808 always seem to sound off tune even when i check to see what note the 808 is on in pitch region. Shit is pretty confusing.
Click the actual sampler channel where you drop the 808 kick. Go to the channel tab that opened up and change the pitch wheel until it sounds in tune with whatever key you're in. Sometimes they're completely out of key from what you're working on so they need to be pitched up or down. Not necessarily just "playing the right note".

>People still defend rap as serious music
I mean don't get me wrong. I like it, love it even. I listen to it all the time. It's just time we all realised it is something of a joke genre.
it only became that way because of the bling rap phase, and how shallow it turned during that time.
that phase does not represent the entirety of what rap is about.
